I need to be pet

Some of my recent work, I am happy with each one of them. Instead of hating them, I learn from them and are kinder to myself. 

Water your plants, they’ll appreciate it.

Shower, wash your face and brush your teeth. It’ll only take about 20 minutes and you’ll feel so much better. I promise.

Remember you don’t have to do spells or ritual everyday to be a “real witch”. Not everyone has the time or the energy for that. You are valid, daily spells or not.

Eat something here and there. Your day will be easier when you have more energy.

Cleanse and recharge your crystals (especially quartz!) before you use them. You don’t need stagnant energy in your life.

Take time to recharge yourself too. Step away from your worries to spend some time on a walk or with your nose in a book. Burn some incense, watch some Netflix or treat yourself to a favourite snack! The real world can wait for a cup of coffee.

If you’re a religious witch, spend time with your gods. Maybe give offerings or pray if that’s your thing!

Drink lots of water!

Do the laundry! It’s been sitting there for a week, might as well get it done now. It’s so much nicer to have clean clothes and sheets. 

Spend a little time learning more for your practice if you feel up to it! Little things like astrology, mythology, moon magick or tarot meanings are interesting tidbits to read up on.

Take your medication if you need to. It’s uber important to stay happy and healthy.

Clean your space a bit. It always helps me think clearer when my room is less cluttered. If you’re feeling up to it, you can also cleanse it however you please. 

Bring that positivity in your life! Smile at yourself in the mirror! Hold the door for that busy mom at the grocery store! Eat that bowl of ice cream you’re craving. Do a spell or make a sigil to promote happiness! Do what makes you happy.

Fill your space with pelts, dark colours and bone. Perhaps devote it to Him.

Donate to or volunteer with a wolf conservation organization.

Fight with passion for what you believe in.

Watch the sunrise on a brisk morning.

Keep an altar to Them decorated with pelts, bones and dark stones.

Offer respect to Their father Fenrir.

Remember that with destruction comes renewal.

Spend time in the woods.

Enjoy the moonrise as the day turns to night.

Do not allow your past to dictate your future.

Dress in dark tones and deep reds.

Allow your passions to become a focal point in your life.

Offer Them your heart through song.

During my time as a pagan, I’ve ever felt connected to two gods: Loki and Fenrir. But I didn’t dare start worshipping Fenrir until recently.

Why is that, you may wonder.

Fenrir, one of Loki’s children is a monster. A giant wolf, to be exact. Due to his wild growth, the gods decided to trick him into chaining him up. They told him they would test his strength, and he agreed.

He broke out of every chain, so they asked dwarves to make them a chain.

Because the new chain seemed so weak, Fenrir suspected it was a trap. So he made Tyr put his hand into Fenrir’s mouth.

And when Fenrir couldn’t break free, he bit Tyr’s hand off.

Now, why do people dislike Fenrir?

Because of Ragnarok, of course! He is destined to kill Odin.

But tell me truthfully: if Odin chained you up for eternity, wouldn’t you want to bite his head off? It seems like a valid reason.

Yet people advise against worshipping Fenrir. He is 'pure evil’.

Even some of my fellow Lokeans agreed he’s bad.

And yet they worship Loki, who killed Balder, a completely innocent god. Not saying anything against Loki, I’m a Lokean too, just criticising there hypocrisy.

Anyhow, Fenrir sits lonely and chained up. And he’s called pure evil. What if he wasn’t treated so roughly?

He was a good pupper, before they took away his freedom. To me, he represents just that.

And what random people on the internet think won’t stop me from believing.

If you feel connected to Fenrir, don’t be afraid. He’s pretty nice.

Talk to him.

Fenrir is bound with a chain, all alone. Don’t you think he’d like some company? Start talking. Say ‘Hi Fenrir’. Add some fancy titles if you want to be more formal. I used to be afraid of communicating with both Fenrir and Loki, but our relationship now is pretty chill. I use no fancy titles. I simply talk to them. My ways of worshipping are different from what I’ve seen, but they work for me. I can talk about that if you want.

Offer him things.

This can be anything. I’ve seen people recommending you to leave him meat. That can work, but it’s not very practical.

Personally, I offer him photos. I think of him when I’m out in the nature, I tell him to look through my eyes and experience the freedom.

I take pictures of nature and dedicate them to him. I could post some here if I gain enough confidence.

Pray

Say some prayers. Again, you can do it formally. You can use candles. Whatever suits you. What’s important is to thank him.

I’m more informal, but I always thank Fenrir for his help.

Represent him

What reminds you of Fenrir? For me, color black is associated to both Loki and Fenrir, so I wear that colour often. I also like that colour. If you don’t like the colour that associates you with Fenrir, don’t wear it. You can wear something more discreet, such as a wolf necklace. You also don’t have to wear anything associated with Fenrir. It’s up to personal preference.

Fenrir is destined to break out of his chains. I believe you’d honor him most of you broke out lf yours. Afraid to ask that guy out? Do it. Break free. Don’t be confined. The greatest things we do are from the inside. Conquer your fears. Do it.
