On the surface, Dylan has a lot of similarities to his brother, Luke. He can be very cheeky and is excellent with women, though quite a player. Settling down isn't really on his mind. He just wants to live a little, though that's proving more difficult than he initially thought. Deep down whilst Luke may be a good guy, Dylan isn't quite so good. Since their parents died, Dylan was put in charge of looking after Luke. It was fine for a while, but as Luke became older it became more and more of a struggle. Soon it was Luke looking after the house and doing all the washing, making Dylan's lunch etc. rather than Dylan doing all that for Luke. He parties all night and sleeps all day. Then he works as a fireman and repeats it all over again. Though Luke soon found out it wasn't just partying that his brother did at night but gambling too. Dylan went up North to try and get a better job to get a good income, but that failed and now he's now back and taking on his fireman duties like before. But is he over his gambling? And will he keep out of trouble this time?

Sienna is a very strong and loyal person. She isn't the girliest of girls, in fact she's quite the opposite. She loves getting her hands dirty and heading out on adventures. Sienna always tries to hide her weaknesses, it's important to her that people see her as nothing less than a strong women who knows how to cope alone and has the answer to everything. She likes to take control and makes a great leader, but is far from bitchy - she hasn't got time for gossip. Sienna grew up in Frankston with her parents and two younger sisters but has just arrived in Brisbane ready to continue her education here after the holidays. She's a very independent 17-year-old and is already enjoying living in an apartment alone. You'll usually find the brunette reading a book or off on a ride in her car trying to find new things, new people and new places. Sienna's very bright and aspires to be a lawyer. She won't settle for anything less than perfection when it comes to her education and career. It is likely that out of all the gang she'd get along best with Tammy because of their strong aspirations and love for hard work. Love and relationships aren't something Sienna's come across yet. She's never been bothered with them. She's had crushes, but had never taken much notice of them, so no one knows how she'd react if she found 'the one'.

When Ed's in the room, all attention's usually on him - although not in a good way. Ed dreams big and he always tries his best to get what he wants, though it doesn't usually go to plan. He's a bit of a computer geek and is totally socially awkward, though he's really not that smart either. Ed somehow managed to convince both Tammy and Eva to sleep with him, though Tammy is still in the dark about the Eva situation. What he really wants now though is Scarlett to love him and Phillipa to leave him alone. Ed is extremely preoccupied with sex, which leads him to do terrible things to his friends in the name of achieving it. He seems generally friendly, comes off as nice, but does so many asinine things to his friends, one wonders why they keep being his friends. He actually better fits the stereotype of Luke's blonde surfer-boy persona than Luke does.

Becca has been best friends with Eva ever since they were little. Surprisingly they never grew apart. Becca adores anyone with a creative hobby so Eva’s art was always something she admired.

Tammy's the 'girl next door' type, she's even literally the girl next door when it comes to Ed. When Tammy first met the others she was very organised and worried a lot about everything. She's a lot more relaxed now, however not to the extent of the others. She still likes making her lists and planning to an unhealthy standard. Much to Scarlett's dislike, Tammy dresses very eccentrically. Her psychological report referred to her as an obsessive, over-achiever and the others would agree with that too. Tammy's unsure of herself and is still searching to find who she really is.

A "compulsive women chaser", in the words of Scarlett. Luke is your typical lad who likes nothing more than sex, parties and causing trouble. Luke's older brother Dylan was meant to be the one looking after him, but really it's the other way round thanks to his brother's gambling problem. There's a side to Luke he never wanted the other to see, though hiding it became impossible. Luke can often be unresponsive and tries his best to avoid how he really feels. He struggles with his academic studies, but doesn't feel they're important to his life anyway. It's fair to say the gang have changed Luke for the better. Before he met the others, he was very selfish and didn't do anything for anyone else. His friendship with Ed and love for Tammy changed him a lot. During exams, Luke wrote Ed's name on his paper claiming he needed it more than he himself did. Luke can still be selfish at times, but he'll usually find a way to make up for it.

Eva’s the one you go to when you need help. She’s like the mother of the gang; the wise one. Despite being excellent when others need help, she has trouble figuring out how to solve her own problems. Eva’s not all good. She’s rebellious, but always manages to slide her way out of trouble. She’s always tried to keep herself to herself, so making friends with the gang was new for her. Even now, she likes time alone and it’s rare she’ll open up. All she wants to concentrate on is her art, which is why she didn’t attend her exams - she doesn’t want to be a doctor like her father wants her to be. Despite having the brains to do so, it just doesn’t interest her. Eva’s still thinking about the possibility of going to visit her biological mother, but is still in two minds about it. It's no use hiding stuff from Miss Lee. She'll be able to see straight through you.

She likes to think she’s the center of the universe and somehow she’s the glue that sticks the gang together. Scarlett met the others when she moved from Melbourne to Brisbane. She is beautiful and uses it to her advantage in every situation. Though she doesn’t come across as the sharpest pin in the box, when she uses her mind she can get herself and her friends out of all types of situations. It also comes in handy when she needs to blackmail her father or the next adult who gets in her way. Looking good is compulsory for Scarlett and she often feels she has a reputation to uphold. Look closer though and all might not be as it seems. Though she’d never tell you, her studies are secretly important to her. Scarlett is a total drama queen, often selfish and loud, but always fun to be around.
