headcanons for Slender (the drawing is of a moment when my 12yo ass saw it in a hallucination)

1) noise in vision and hearing, headaches and weakness may probably be a consequence of the creature’s influence on the brain waves and the process of "reading" them, their manipulation, which causes such malfunctions in the brain.

2) it becomes cold around the creature due to the fact that it weakens the vibration of particles around itself in order to better feel their movement around it and better navigate in space (after all, the temperature depends on how fast the particles move)

3) I don’t think that it is “evil”, “bad”, “cruel” and thinks that people are stupid and low in comparison with it and etc. Such behavior is characteristic for insecure and abusive people who want to assert themselves at the expense of others and show their strength. Why would a non-human being, who has lived for so many years and knows a lot and whose feelings and consciousness work so differently, assert itself at the expense of other beings? I think it is very confident in itself, something like this is simply not needed.

4) probably, it does not feed on organic matter, but on emotions?, chemistry and hormones that are released during strong feelings, and it just so happens that fear is one of the most powerful feelings, which is helped by the appearance of the creature. It probably absorbs it all through the blood, but I don’t know how.. maybe with “teeth”, but I don’t think it has a mouth.. I guess it’s one of the types of tentacles that function like needles.

5) I also think that it does not see like we do, but is capable of “seeing” by reading memories and the internal visual picture in people’s minds through their brain waves, therefore seeing everything around us, how we visually perceive our surroundings, and how it itself looks. I don’t know what it felt when it first “saw” itself through the eyes of animals and humans.

6) oh, and the fact that it shuts off the electronics around itself and is active at night because it all emits a lot of radiation and waves, which makes it very difficult for it to navigate in space, because for this it's all very “noisy” ... maybe that’s why it hangs out in the forest, because there is practically nothing like that there, except for the waves and etc from plants and so on.

7) also, if it sleeps, then it probably sleeps in up right position and grabs onto branches and trees with its tendrils to remain in this position:>

8) I think that the headache, ringing in the ears, and noise/blackout/ripples in vision from looking at the “face” of the creature directly stems from the fact that it is like a feedback loop with the microphone and speaker. the creature initially influences the mind and body of a person, and when a person looks at the creature, they “close” this loop, from which the influence of the creature goes in a circle through the person, intensifying, which leads to pain and disruptions in vision and hearing.

9) i think it doesn't like human laughter. it comes out in sharp and frequent bursts, which feels harsh for a being sensitive to waves, etc. it likes crying more. it's more constant, sobs are not as frequent. ... which means it doesn't like purring too :≥

10) because of it stilling the particles around it, a long and direct physical contact results in numbness of the skin and deeper at the place of the contact. better to hold the numbed area under warm water afterwards.

11) it doesn't feel temperature like we do, nor does it affect it in the same way. its more like if particles around move faster or slower, rather than hot or cold.

12) it prefers winter more. not as much sun, which means not as much radiation from it, coldness, what makes it easier to navigate and trees without leaves, making it more easier to blend in to dark branches and white snow. and it's calmer, plants are asleep, so there's fewer waves from them.
