finished my first week in ot school n honestly I really do see myself in this field (even tho I’ve tried to avoid anything psychological/therapist related) let’s see how the rest of the semester goes!!!!!

I made this post four years ago. Today was my last day of my last internship and I’ll be graduating in two months God’s will. Look at life!!

I think the first step towards the life you want is often to just say yes to more things. Accept that coffee invitation from your coworker even if it seems awkward. Sign up for that free class at the library that you're not sure you'll like. Join that club. Book that tour. Say yes to as many things as you can and kill the part of your brain that gut-reacts with a no.

Nothing I’ve read has changed me more than “you do people a favor by accepting their help” like I repeat this constantly to so many people because it’s true!!! People like to feel useful, they like to feel kind, they like to feel like they have an ability to impact people’s lives so just let them!! Not everything is a thing to be owed back — accept people’s kindness without making a competition out of it

I need to journal religiously I feel like I’m witnessing myself evolve in 30 different ways every day I need to keep up with me
