Hi :) I think the ships you do are so cool!!!! I've never seen this done on any other blog! Would it be possible for you to do one for me? I don't mind which era. I'm 5"9, a Ravenclaw, shoulder length dark brown hair, dark hazel eyes. I'm super shy until you get to know me cause then I'm a total sarcastic smart ass. I'm one of those people that if you mess with someone I love, you better hope I never find out or else. I love music, the beach, and drawing. I'm also a little rebellious. đđ
I ship you with Remus Lupin! Youâd catch his eye, and there was no getting around him then. Heâd break right past the shy, and love the girl he finds underneath. Your loyalty and wit would be perfect for him. And Remus is a Marauder, so heâd go right along with any rebellion you may have in mind.
Also, this was perfect for a little thing I had an idea about, but have yet to write.
SoâŚcontinue reading for a little bonus because youâve inspired me. Excuse the choppiness.Â
âThis is not going to work, Sirius,â Remus huffed, slinging his bag over his shoulder and looking out toward the beach. It was almost empty. People didnât really come down here in the Winter. It was far too cold and windy. But, it didnât bother Remus. He liked the beach better in the Winter. It mightâve been a little chilly, but it was the best place to clear his head.
Or maybe that wasnât it at all.
Maybe it was the girl that was always perched on the rocks by the ocean with a sketchbook in her hand. She caught his eye back in the Fall, and heâd been coming to the beach for occasional walks ever since. Sheâd luckily decided to try to tough out the Winter for whatever she was drawing. She was beautiful, way out of Remusâ league. But, he just couldnât get over the long legs and long, dark hair. There was something about it he just couldnât shake.
And, this morning, heâd made the mistake of telling Sirius about it.
âHave some faith, Moony.âÂ
He climbed into the back seat and once he had room, the big black dog that Remus knew all too well replaced him. Sirius hopped out into the sand, and took off towards the beach. Remus sighed, running a flustered hand through his hair. This was such a bad idea. Reluctantly, he started off towards the beach.
He walked towards the end of the beach where you usually sat. Padfoot was running and playing in the waves, running up the beach. Remus shoved his hand in his pocket, pawing at the tennis ball Sirius had given him earlier.
Siriusâ voice echoed in his head. âCalm down. All you have to do is throw the tennis ball and apologize when I go fuck this girlâs whole life up bringing her the ball.â
Remus had said, âYeah, Sirius, thatâll work. Most people just love it when huge, wet, slobbery dogs âfuck their whole lives up.ââ
âIf youâre going to insult me, Iâm not agreeing to this.â
Lupin huffed, knowing this was going to be terrible. He pulled the ball out and threw it towards the waves where Sirius was frolicking. It bounced once before Sirius darted towards it, catching it midair. Remus raised his eyebrows, a little impressed with the dog. Padfoot ran back to him, the ball hanging sideways out of his mouth. He dropped it in front of him, looking up and waiting for him to throw it again.
They were far enough down the beach now, and you were, like always, sitting on the rocks drawing. Remus stared over for a second or two, holding the ball in his hand. He raised his hand and threw it towards the water. Sirius took off after it and Remus started walking closer to you, knowing thatâs where Pads was headed.
He watched as Sirius caught the ball and went running off towards you, kicking up sand behind him as he went. You had your eyes still glued toward the waves, crashing up near your feet. Sirius jumped onto the rocks, tail wagging and a wild look in his eyes. He jumped over into your lap and Remus winced as you dropped your sketchbook and pencil. As he got closer though, he realized he owed Sirius one.â
âOh, hello!â you were giggling, running your hands through Siriusâ tufts of black fur. âArenât you so cute? Oh, my goodness, youâre so cute.â
Remus cleared his throat, âOh, God, Iâm so sorry about him. He can get a little rowdy sometimes.â
You looked up at him with warm hazel eyes, âNo, itâs okay. Seriously, heâs so adorable. Whatâs his name?â
âErm, we call himâŚâ Remus thought for a second. âPadfoot.â
Sirius licked your face, thankfully distracting you from Remusâ awkwardness. Maybe he wasnât a horrible wing man. You laughed, âThank you for the kisses, Padfoot. What kind of dog is he?â
Remus laughed nervously and Sirius looked up at him, excited about this answer and how he would never let Remus hear the end of the dog breed he was about to make up. âHeâs a mutt. Found him digging through some trash.â
Sirius barked in protest. Remus just reached over and patted his head. You smiled, âSo, you just took him in?â
âYup, thought he was too cute to pass up,â Remus said, gritting his teeth at the cute part.
âThatâs so sweet,â you smiled, returning your attention to Sirius. âIâve always wanted a dog, but I just donât have the time.â
âWell, I donât mind sharing,â Remus said, picking up your dropped book and pencil from the ground and moving to sit beside you. âIâm Remus.âÂ
âPerfect,â you laughed, kissing the top of Padfootâs head and throwing the ball over into the sand. Sirius watched it go, and ran after it once again. âY/N.âÂ
âSo, you draw?â Remus asked, watching Sirius catch the ball in his mouth and come trotting back over with it.
âOh, yeah,â you told him. âI moved here to go to art school, actually. Winter has the best skies, I think, if you can get past the cold.â
âYeah, I donât mind it. Plus, Pads loves the beach,â he said. âMind if I look at some of these?â
âSure, go ahead,â you told him and Padfoot came climbing back up the rocks. Remus looked through your book. Your drawings were beautiful. There were a few landscapes of the sky and the waves, including the one you were working on. But, that wasnât all. There were huge drawings of heavily detailed seashells that really caught his eye, and drawings of the gulls perched in the sand. Further back there were baby sea turtles charging toward the surf. There was an incredible night scene, with the moon and a light house. All of them were incredible, and Remus almost didnât want to take his eyes away. He glanced over at you, and at the darkening sky. âDid you need to finish this before it gets dark?âÂ
âOhâŚâ you blinked, taking your eyes off of Padfoot for a second to look down at your unfinished drawing. You probably needed to finish it. Glancing up at the beautiful golden haired boy in awe of your art, you decided against it. He was much more captivating than the waves at this point. âUh, no I can finish another time.âÂ
âReally?â he asked, looking up at the sky. It was a pretty sight, and you might regret passing it up later, but now you just wanted to flirt with Remus and pet his dog.Â
You nodded, pulling your sweater closer around you as a harsh gust blew in, âItâs getting kind of chilly anyways.âÂ
âDo you want to get out of here?â Remus blurted, closing your sketchbook.Â
âAbsolutely,â you smiled. You could definitely finish later.Â
Remus jumped down the rocks, tucking your things under his arm and offered you his hand, leading you down the rocks. Padfoot jumped off the rocks and picked his ball up out of the sand. Remus slipped his coat off and wrapped it around your shoulders. You grinned and took his hand back into yours, leading him off the beach.Â
The car came into view and Padfoot was sitting by the back door. Remus pat the top of his head before letting him into the backseat. He would definitely be going on more walks in the future.Â
