More Firsts

First Meeting

“Yes.” he said firmly. He reached up to get his own book from the dash of the truck before he got out. “Come on.” he said, beckoning Kieran to get out as well. He closed his door, and once Kieran got out, he locked it. “Lead the way.”

Kieran got out of the truck and them said, “Yes, Sir,” taking the lead as he walked to his room. It didn’t take long to reach his room, and Kieran pulled out his key to unlock it, then opened the door. “Just a sec,” he said glancing at Aaron as he made his way inside. It was simple, nothing very expensive. The was a guitar resting on the couch.

First Meeting

“You don’t need to be sorry.” he said firmly, shaking his head slowly. “I’ll be more careful.” he promised. He didn’t want to make Kieran uncomfortable. It only took a few more minutes for them to get back to the campus, and he parked again. 

Kieran slowly picked up his book from the seat between them. “So..” he started, not sure if the Dom would want to hang out with him now after that, or if he’d just blown it. “Should we go get my tapes and then head to your room. Sir?” he asked as he glanced over.

First Meeting

Aaron jerked his hand away when Kieran froze. “I… I’m sorry.” he said softly. He kept both hands on the steering wheel now, swallowing hard. “I didn’t mean to freak you out.” he said softly, concentrating on the rest of the drive now. 

“It..It’s okay,” Kieran said softly, too embarrassed to look at Aaron. He wanted to say it’s not you, it’s me. Because it was true. Aaron hadn’t meant anything by it, logically he knew that but...old habits were hard to break. “I’m sorry.”

First Meeting

Aaron nodded firmly in approval. “Well of course.” he said, chuckling a little. “I would not expect you to.” he said. A hand moved to squeeze at Kieran’s knee for a moment. “Wouldn’t dream of it.”

Kieran smiled over at Aaron, amused that the Dom agreed with him. His body froze at the unexpected physical contact. It hadn’t been that long since he left home, and Kieran still struggled with physical contact that he wasn’t expecting. It was hard to change the way his brain thought after all those years. He took a slow breath in and forced himself to relax, moving to turn on the radio as a distraction. 

First Meeting

He laughed at the question, shaking his head a little. “Ninjas. You?” he returned, glancing over at the switch for a moment before he refocused on the road. 

Kieran smiled, enjoying the sound of his laugh. “Ninjas, definitely ninjas,” he said matter of factly. “They’re way cooler, so I’m glad you agree because I don’t know that I could be friends with someone who liked pirates more.” 

First Meeting

Aaron was taken in by that smile. And those green eyes. And that accent. And good god… those freckles… But he wasn’t sure what to do about that. “Thank you Kieran.” he said, his own cheeks flushed a little. “You can… put on some music if you want. Or ask questions.”

Kieran nodded a little and smiled. The more he got to know Aaron, the more he was starting to really like him. At first it had just been physical attraction, but now he was attracted to who Aaron Daniels was as a person. He thought for a moment, then asked, “Ninjas or pirates?” 

First Meeting

“Good boy.” he said, walking with Kieran back to his truck. “I like it when you smile.” he said once he was in the truck and buckled in. He started up and pulled out of the parking lot, driving back to the school. 

Kieran blushed at the compliment, looking down even as he smiled wider. After a moment he replied, “Thank you, Sir.” He paused for a moment, leaning back against the seat and then said, “I like it when you smile too, Sir.”

First Meeting

Aaron stood up when Kieran returned. “Well, let’s head back now. I… can walk you to your room so you can get your tapes. And then we can go back to my room and hang out. How’s that sound?” he asked. 

Kieran nodded. “That sounds good to me, Sir,” he said and followed the Dom out to his truck. He waited for Aaron to unlock it again, and then climbed up into the seat. Once his door was closed, he put on his seatbelt, then glanced at Aaron with a soft smile. 

First Meeting

“A lot of my stuff is on tape. I don’t… want to update it yet… But CD players are the newer thing so I got one too.” he said, shrugging. “Yes you may.” he said, holding out the cup, then the plate. 

Kieran took the cup, then the plate from the Dom, carefully balancing everything as he walked over to a trashcan and threw it away. He walked back toward Aaron and said, “I like tapes. CDs are fine, but I like tapes more. Kieran shrugged his shoulders. 

First Meeting

His eyes widened again. “Oh. Well, maybe after I read some, I kind of want to get a solid base before I actually try. I wouldn’t want to hurt you.” he said. “Oh, I have a tape player too. Whatever’s best.” he said. He drank the rest of his coffee before he gestured at Kieran’s cup. “Are you done?”

Kieran nodded slowly. “Yeah..I appreciate the not wanting to hurt me. Oh, okay, cool. Not everyone does anymore.” Kieran smiled as Aaron finished his coffee and replied, “Yes, Sir.” He should throw away their stuff, it was the submissive thing to do, right? Kieran stood and grabbed his cup and pie plate as he asked, “Can I throw away your cup for you, Sir?”

First Meeting

“Really? I’d… I’d like that. Yeah.” he said, nodding slowly. “Maybe you could… introduce me to your music?” he offered. “I’ve got a CD player in my room.” he said. 

“Okay, cool,” he glanced up at him and smiled. “You could even use me to try out some of the rope tying...I mean.. it’s always easier for me to grasp something if I can do it instead of just read about it..if you want, Sir.” Kieran smirked, “That would be awesome...I mean nothing beats listening to it on cassette tape, but I do have some CDs too.”

First Meeting

He nodded a little. “I understand.” he said, though he knew it might not be completely true. He arched his eyebrows a little at the question. “Uh, I was planning on reading some. Digging into Shibari.” he said with a shrug. “Why?”

“Oh, that’s cool,’ He paused, “Well,..I just thought..maybe we could hang out...but like I totally get if you just want to look at your book..I’ll probably borrow it when your done,” he said and looked down somewhat embarrassed. 

First Meeting

“Great.” he said, appreciating the agreement. He arched his eyebrow a little bit, but didn’t push anymore. “Yeah, I did like it, most of the time. I’m kind of closest with my oldest brother, and my twin. Not so much with any of the others.” he said, shrugging a little. “But I kind of like being here, and being all independent.”

Kieran smiled at him and took a sip of his coffee. He enjoyed learning about Aaron and his family. “I’m closest to my oldest brother and my younger sister who’s the baby of the family,” He’d tried to protect her as much as he could over the years, and it bothered him knowing she was still at home. “Are you doing anything tonight, Sir?”

First Meeting

He smiled shyly at the compliment on his voice. “Thank you Kieran.” he said softly. “I understand that. Relationships can be really hard when you’re busy. And.. I kind of forgot what I was going to say after that.” he said, frowning to himself. “But anyway, I hope that we can be friends.” he said, smiling brightly. “Oh wow, I guess you totally get the big family thing… Did you like it?”

Kieran smiled softly and nodded his head. “I’d like that, Sir,” he agreed easily. He enjoyed Aaron’s company, and the Dom seemed to enjoy his, so Kieran thought they could be. Kieran shrugged a little. “It was okay...there was never a dull moment in our house.” Though he meant that in a very different way than most would take it. ”What about you...did you like growing up in a large family?”

First Meeting

“It’s not prying when I offer.” he pointed out. “Well, I said in the truck… My best friend is Gill, he’s on the fotball team. We’ve been friends since we were babies. We were even born within days of each other… But enough about that. I’m… I’ve always been the nerd. More into books and school and stuff… I’ve had one boyfriend… But that ended years ago, and he’s at some other academy.” he said, unsure what he was really talking about, just rambling. “Uh… I have 6 siblings. A couple of them are upperclassmen at SFA, a couple already graduated. And a couple are still in high school.” he said, crinkling his nose a little. “And now I’m rambling. Sorry.”

Okay, that was true. He thought it must be cool to have a friend like that here. The Switch had made friends since he had arrived, but he had no one that he’d known for that long or even knew that well at the school. Kieran smiled softly, nodding occasionally as he listened to Aaron talk. “It’s okay, Sir. I like listening to you talk, you’ve got a nice voice to just sit and listen too,” he said and he just enjoyed learning about him. “I haven’t really been in a serious relationship yet. Before Academy life was just crazy, and adjusting to Academy, being on my own, football and work and everything, it’s still crazy just a different kind...um..” he said realizing he’d rambled more than he intended. “That’s cool you have six siblings, Sir. I have five. Three sisters, two brothers, I’m the youngest male, and fifth of the six of us. “

First Meeting

He finished his snack and sipped at his coffee, smiling at Kieran gently. “Good.” he said, nodding a little. “So, is there anything else you’d like to ask me?” he offered, wanting to draw out their conversation more.

“Oh...umm..I don’t know, I mean..I don’t want to be like prying or anything..Is there anything that you want to tell me, Sir?” He asked and then picked up his coffee and took a sip. Aaron had left it up to him when he asked, Kieran thought he’d do the same and see what the Dom said.
