I saw a Jonathan stan claim STEVE was the dbros self insert once after season 5 lmao. I was floored by how dumb that argument was. At this point I'm assuming Jonathan fans are just always gonna gaslight people (like their fav aww), misunderstand basic concepts, argue in bad faith or just completely lie to make their point. I'm so pleasantly surprised on the few occasions I come across a Jonathan fan who is willing to actually constructively talk about the real characters and not just the ones they made up in their heads
