tucked away in a little corner of archimedes, occupying one of its many dips and alleys is a new underground fight club & bar! for those with an itch to pit themselves against one another and feel the rush of blood & adrenaline, or those that enjoy the simplicity of sitting back and watching the competitive side of others blossom -- we have a place for you.

decorated by blazing red neon and accompanied by music to drown out a heartbeat are the doors to an awaiting cage. descend the stairs and make your way into the depths of this brawlers dream. from the late hours into the late morning ( 7pm - 3am ) the doors are open to all ready and willing. crack those knuckles and get ready to have that heart pumping to a rapid, beautiful beat!

relevant experience: worked as a guardian of a lord’s castle for some time, as well as being the sole practitioner of a fighting style meant to subdue, not kill. he’s been a demon for 100 years, he’s good at what he does.

why did you choose this position?: was told i would be good at it. why are you interested in working here?: also been told i need to ‘get out more often.’

“that experience o ‘ yours holds my interest, certainly, and ya don’t look like no pushover, either.” a young man who can hold his own and then some. without saying more, he’d already successfully caught the warriors eye.

“consider th’ spot yours. i’ll introduce ya to renni, while we’re at it, she can help run ya through the basics.” he’ll chime in if he needs to. “don’t go shyin’ from the ring on your free time, either... i’m curious t’ see ya dance, akaza!”

“oho! someone experienced with drinks, eh?”

he may not be familiar with nitro fuel, but she’s got him curious enough to find out. that, and she’s got a good attitude in what she’s presenting. a fun vibe of her own, one might say.

“alright, burni, consider it a done deal!” there’s a brief pause as an ear twitches, “but ya’ve gotta let me try th’ first glass o’ whatever ya make -- fuel me up!”

relevant experience: I have thrown grown men twice my age off of a ship, multiple times. I’ve fought and held my own against a Country’s High General. …Serving wise I have just mostly brought food to people before to help out a sweet grandma back when I was a teen.

why did you choose this position?: I just threw it out there to be honest why are you interested in working here?: Skullrender has been recommended to me several times so why not just work here huh?

“wherever i need ya, was it?” humming low dar gently curls the resume, enough to tap it against his thigh in thought. an impressive list of feats, he’ll give her that. enough so that he’s offering a quick glance; like studying an opponent, where he might strike, how they might retaliate. she’s caused a twinge of excitement to animate his tail before he’s swinging his legs off his desk.

“what if i nudged ya towards bein’ a referee? we’ve not gotten too many jumpin’ at the spot, but if it’s throwin’ men around that ya like so much -- there’s no better place!

not like it would do much good, this kid was far too young to even be considered for part time. pretty sure he wasn't a fan of the possibility of bombs showing up within his establishment, anyway.

name: Ikki age: 18 position:  Bouncer (or server) relevant experience:  I’ve been fighting since I was spawned (I’m a Construct, duh).  I specialize in blades but I’m not afraid to use fists.  Got an enhanced sense of smell so I can literally smell trouble.  Okay maybe not LITERALLY trouble, but I can LITERALLY smell magic usage, blood from far away, and occasionally lies. why did you choose this position?:  Because you have a stupid fucking age limit of 21 to be able to fight in the arena, and in chronological years I prolly won’t hit that until you’re all old and grey or dead.  Again: Construct.  Fuck’s sake. why are you interested in working here?:  I need money like you wouldn’t believe, and most job applications are all about ‘actual experience.‘  Man I’m a fucking Construct, I haven’t had a CHANCE to 'experience’ things.  Just let me beat people up for cash.  (If you won’t let me bounce, I guess I can wait tables.)

paper crinkles under a pressing thumb, a low hum sounding over the squeak of a chair as the miqo’te within it rocks with his passing thoughts. one of the youngest applicant’s he’s received for the place. mouthier sort, too. from the presentation of this alone he might have tossed it down and told the lad to try some place else – but that addition of not being given that chance to learnis what pulls him.

there’s not a budge strong enough to have dar’khol altering his rules for his club, but he could offer ikki a chance. with some strong limitations.

“y’know, despite the nature of my club, there’s a part of those positions ya need a knack for. it ain’t all throwin’ down to make ends meet. tough guy actin’ can only get ya so far, ya need to know how to talk to people and, from fillin’ this out? sounds to me like ya ain’t the best at it.”

flicking down the resume and straightening up, dar’khol continues,

“but i’ll offer some slack. you’re old enough to be learnin’ the workin’ world, so i’ll help ya gain some experience – how’s ‘bout part time in both fields? learn your way ‘round ‘em, brighten up those social skills.

Relevant Experience: Worked for a private military for roughly 10 years; primarily took jobs that involved slaying monsters but taking care of unwanted guests for people was part of the job description too. :)

Why did you choose this position?: I’ve done security detail before, so why not do it some more?

Why are you interested in working here?: Walked in one day and thought the vibes were fun, so why not?

“military work, monster slayin’ and the removal of unwanted guests? color me impressed with the experience. mighty big fan o’ the attitude, here, too! jumpin’ in for the hells of it, eh? i can get behind that, and i’d say everythin’ checks out on top o’ that, so... why not? consider yourself part’a the team!

relevant experience: I’ve worked at various taverns over the years and have always been praised for my work. I’m charming and great at maintaining small talk, which means I’ll be a favorite amongst the costumers. Also I dress well. What else could anyone ask for?

why did you choose this position?: Well, for one, it’s not boring. You get to watch fights for free and overhear people’s conversations. Second, it’s loud! It’s exciting!!

why are you interested in working here?: Honestly? I think this is the place to meet interesting people and hear about their stories. Besides that, loved the decoration.

all those wishing to participate as a fighter within the ring can do so freely without an application! this is a club to throw those fists around for the fun of it, after all. so don't worry about needing permission -- this is an environment to freely use in your in-character interactions however you see fit ( with club rules in mind, of course )!

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: One of the commanders of the Jade Emperor’s heavenly army. In my original world I’m currently "management" for a human “organization” (mob boss’s son)so I’m used to ordering people around.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS POSITION?: I get to see fights and call people out on their bad takes, but I don’t have to hold actual conversations.

WHY ARE YOU INTERESTED IN WORKING HERE?: I don’t need the Dust or the hours, but I’d like to do more with my time. Also the owner said he’d fight people so this makes scheduling stuff easier?

POSITION: Security

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Keeping an eye out for trouble is my specialty and making sure those who need protection (whether outside of the fight or in the fight) is something I’m good at too. I have my own combat skills and I’m not afraid to knock a teeth or two in if someone steps out of line.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS POSITION?: Seems like it’d be a good idea. WHY ARE YOU INTERESTED IN WORKING HERE?: Need the money and was already looking for a job.

relevant experience: Uh, well, I have military experience since I was a kid - one of the highest ranking officials in said military. Been on a bunch of solo missions, lots of combat experience besides that. Helped run a bank once? Oh, and I went to jail and there was a fighting ring there, too.

why did you choose this position?: Security seems a little altruistic for me, and I know who I am better than anyone. Better off keeping kids outta danger and taking out troublemakers at the door, yeah? why are you interested in working here?: I’m interested in a place like this running successfully. Working here for a shift or two would also make it easier to commute to join as a customer, heh.
