(;eyes her before laughing) Well Junhong is pretty lucky that I like him. I'll always be overprotective but I guess since you've been friends and known him so long I've gotten used to him being around you. I feel less like I need a baseball bat in my hand at all times.

(;he watches her carefully, trying to read between the lines and the expression on her face. he can't help but let out a laugh at her comment though and he shakes his head) So-so, we'll have to change that but it sure as hell ain't gonna be with me buying you the brass knuckles. They're far too dangerous, you here? (;pausing a moment, he pokes her forehead) I'm alright, hanging in there.

-she hummed at his words, already having sort of known that that would be his answer, without another though she gave a light nod of her head- It is, isn’t it? I often find myself staring at the sky when I can’t sleep. Have have you been holding up with everything, though? 

You do? Maybe I should try that on the nights that my insomnia starts playing up. (;pauses a little and shrugs his shoulders) The lack of sleep is kinda starting to add up but at least I have someone kidnapping me soon and a break from all the stress. (;smiles and nudges her shoulder with his own)

(;hugs her a little tighter, his face softening as he peeks down to try and see her face) Have you been okay? (;he looks concerned as he pats her back a little) Do I need to beat anyone up?

*swats at his hand then sticks her tongue out* Mm, and I really haven’t been here in a long while. So it feels like a century or something.

You haven't? Have you been hiding out with your boyfriend or something? (;squints his eyes) Feels weird saying that without feeling the need to threaten the poor guy's existence.

-at first she chuckled at his question before giving a light nod of her head- Of course, y’know I always make wishes on moons and when clock hits 11:11. What about you, though. -her lips curled up in a smile- Have you? 

(;he smiled because he did know about her wishing traditions. stuffing a hand into his pocket, he shook his head) I haven't really been making any wishes, the hours always seem to speed by or get stuck on a specific minute. I've been noticing the stars in the sky more. It's really beautiful to just take a moment to look up.
