Nothing had prepared Emma for what happened at her boarding school today. She was a grade A student in her final year at school. She was generally very adult and self confident and because of her good example she was the Head Girl in her House. Everything was going normally until she received an message to go urgently to her Housemaster’s office.

As she entered the office she immediately noticed that her Housemaster was much more formal than usual. He told her that he was very disappointed with her as she had been reported for cheating in her recent science and English assessments. He had checked her answers and there was no doubt that she had closely copied some of last year’s work completed by her older sister who had now left. He told her that her blatant dishonesty had let her parents and her House down and said he had no option but to suspend her from school pending contacting her parents.

Emma was in a panic but had no option but to admit her dishonesty. She told  him she had no excuses but pleaded not to be suspended and to have the matter dealt with without her parents’ involvement. Emma had never received corporal punishment before but she asked if he could punish her that way as an alternative to suspension. Her Housemaster replied that he did not want to damage her future prospects so corporal punishment had the advantage that it could be kept private but on the other hand her misbehaviour was a very serious and calculated dishonesty and the punishment would need to be severe. Seeing a glimmer of hope Emma said she understood that but was ready to accept whatever was needed.

She watched as her Housemaster went to put his “Engaged “ sign on the office door and then locked it. She then knew that this was a sure sign he was agreeing to discipline her  here and now. But her relief that her punishment would be private was balanced by her sudden panic that she had never received corporal punishment before, She was realistic enough to know she was going to have to offer him her bum to be beaten and was scared that it would be too small to take it. She watched nervously as her Housemaster selected a senior cane from the cupboard and told her that her punishment would be in two sessions separated by five days. The first stage would be a long and firm hand spanking today and the second stage would be a fifteen stroke caning. The interval between the punishments was to allow her bottom to recover. Emma blushed deeply, looked at the floor in shame, and became tearful breathing heavily with nervousness at the punishment she now faced. Although she was intelligent enough to realise that if her punishment had to be in two sessions it was because it was going to be too severe for a single session.

Emma’s Housemaster sat on an upright chair and asked her to remove her blazer, tie, and pullover and come to stand in front of him. As she did so her tears were flowing freely.
