Last fall I was fortunate enough to watch one of my favorite artists create in one of the most intimate settings possible. Over the course of four nights, I never felt closer to understanding her creative process and how her mind ticked. Luckily a couple months later I was able to sit down with her and spend a morning together just chatting. We talked about a lot of things: her album, her philosophy, her identity, nonbinary as a mode of thought, fandom, fantasy and cooking.
