The idea of an individual forced to be a carbon copy of someone else simply due to surface levels of similarities. Then grappling with the fact that they are designated as "number two" and "the other one", with a literal icon always floating above their head serving as a reminder to themselves and everyone else that they are and will always be "player two". Add on to the fact that the only form of individuality to express their differences is a simple palette swap to their design. Then later have what little form of self expression remaining ripped away, and to then be forced to share a body with the "original" further losing their own autonomy.

I found that all pretty interesting.
