Elias Ainsworth is from The Ancient Magus Bride.

I would also use Elias’ English voice for Vin, but the way he speaks is too proper. Otherwise, his tone and resonance fit fine.

There were moments where Ainz's Japanese VA (as Renfred) interacted with Vin's voice claim (Elias) in the series. I naturally wanted to include a couple of examples…

Though Elias speaks a bit more casually than Vin would in these clips, the important thing I wanted to convey was that Vin has a rich(?) yet gentle voice and that he uses the personal pronoun 僕 boku.

Unlike Ainz’s formal 私 watashi or Suzuki’s private 俺 ore, Vin uses 僕 boku both with the guardians and while alone. This initially comes off as him being humble, but I think the consistency shows his confidence in his identity.

Peroroncino actually poked fun at Vin’s personal use of the “humble and youthful” 僕 boku back in YGGDRASIL. Most of the guys used the “masculine” 俺 ore by the time everyone got along, so Vin sounded a bit boyish. Using 俺 ore never really clicked with Vin, 僕 boku was much more representative of his personality.

Vin was generally mellow and unassuming with the guild members. But after the transfer, his circumstances have changed. Vin does not feel as cornered by guild expectations as Momonga does, and having (begrudgingly) acted in leading positions for projects at work, he knows how to be firm and upfront when necessary. He will sometimes exercise his authority for Momonga’s sake a la “Excuse me. He asked for no pickles". This is why in the interaction that I included, Ainz feels that Vin “changes” when he addresses the guardians; He was not used to seeing Vin be proactive authoritatively.
