The last 10 or 15 years have seen a real takeover of neutrals, beiges and grays and whites, in consumer goods and interior design. We've all seen the car color chart. Other people smarter than me have discussed the reasons for this, the caution brought on by economic instability. Nobody wants to paint their walls green because their home isnt a place to get comfortable, its an investment that will need to be made palatable for a new buyer (and why give yourself the extra task of repainting when youll have so much else to do when you move).

Atomic Betty

Betty Barrett was a mild mannered middle school student in Canadian suburb.  Unbeknownst to her friends and family, Betty maintained a secret life as ‘Atomic Betty’ the top agent for the Galactic Guardians.  The Guardians were an elite team dedicated to interstellar crime-fighting and law enforcement throughout the cosmos.     

Along with her two allies, the alien pilot Sparky and a robot named X-5, Betty repetitively thwarted the diabolical schemes of the evil overlord Maximus I.Q., as well as other intergalactic super villains, criminals, terrorists, and gangsters. Despite being rather unassuming on Earth, Atomic Betty is a superstar throughout the galaxy and even has a crowd of people who consider her their role model.

I've spent the last hour scrolling through @keferon 's spellbound AU and the related AUs (I spin mimic jazz and golem prowl in my mind like a microwave) and going insane... Hurrhh i need to make more fanart...
