1. The migraines will stop!!

My doctor didn’t tell me that I’d have migraines—that they were related to electrolytes and that I should increase them, specifically salt, and stay super hydrated—so she obviously didn’t tell me these burning, hot headaches would go away after a month (ice packs on your head help along with wearing sunglasses). I’m pretty sure my body was rewiring itself to use estrogen instead of testosterone ?? … or to operate with less liquid since the Spiro/T blocker is a diuretic

2. You will have a monthly cycle  …

My doctor told me that, as much as dudes like to complain about how chicks have their period, everyone has a cycle. As a girl though, it has all felt stronger. While it’s mostly nice, since I feel a lot more in tune with my body, some days I realize that, for no particular reason, I just am pissed and everything and everyone lol

3. You will forget what you look like 

I often do double takes when I see my reflection in a mirror, since my body and my face is changing so fast. Some days I’m pleasantly surprised by how feminine my face is; other times I’m just frustrated by how far I am from what I want to be ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

4. Electrolysis is better than laser, but it takes forever!!!

Apparently laser is just hair reduction/not permanent. Electrolysis is permanent, but, each time they zap your hairs, only a very small portion of them are super vulnerable/in the growth phase/won’t grow back. So you are basically playing roulette until they are all deads (✖╭╮✖)

5. You’ll be zippy xD

I don’t know whether it’s the drugs or if it’s just the fact that I’m FINALLY allowing my body to be the right way, but most of the time I will jump around the house and say silly nonsensical things to my girlfriend. I don’t remember feeling this happy before transitioning.
