Someone told me today that life constantly throws you curveballs and it always seems that you experience an up right before a down. That scared me because I thought life got more stable after a while. Like I would get the hang of it eventually, but that right now I'm a noob and have to learn everything the hard way. So hearing an older person say that really changed my life for a second. I can understand why after 50 years a person can get jaded from riding life's rollercoaster for so long. The year 2016 has seemed to be one loooong down and it doesnt look like next year (or the next four years) will be much better.
