this is the dumbest comment thread i've lost my braincells on.
@athy:the backlash she's getting now doesn't even compare to what emman went through. emman just shared an opinion, she fueled hate.
dumbass out of touch op: mhm! let her CONSCIENCE consume her mind and let the karma do the rest.
@athy:let karma handle it' is exactly why people with platforms never learn. her conscience didn't stop her from using her influence to pile onto emman when she was alive. if we just 'let people reflect and hope they feel bad behind the screen' without ever pointing out what they did wrong, nothing changes. this 'be the bigger person' mentality is exactly how problematic creators keep their platforms and do the same thing again. pointing out hypocrisy and asking for accountability isn't hate, it's necessary for any actual change to happen.
dumbass out of touch op:well, there’s no reason for you to do the same babes! but if you do so, it’s you yourself. up to you to do the right and wrong thing that will not really benefit you.
dumbass out of touch op:also! remember not all people who receive hate will change. so it’s either you to do effort for nothing or effort for something!
@athy:by your own logic, speaking up about this won't benefit you either so why are you bothering to post? you're acting like people being angry about what happened to emman and holding someone accountable is the same as the original dogpiling. it's not. emman was innocent and sharing her opinion. crimason used her platform to contribute to tearing her down. calling that out isn't 'doing the same hate train'. there's a massive difference between unjustified hate and justified anger at someone's actions. yes some people might be out of line but that doesn't mean everyone is just using this situation to hate. the majority of people are genuinely angry about what happened. if you really believe in karma then surely you believe in humans' ability to care this much for someone. if you want to stay silent that's your choice, but don't police people who are genuinely upset that someone lost their life.
@eun ♡ ˙‧₊˚:by your own logic, wala ka na din pinagkaiba kay crimason 😘
(THIS WAS SO OUT OF THE LINE I DIDN'T DRIVE ANYONE TO SUICIDE)
@eun ♡ ˙‧₊˚:what’s the point of freedom speech with your own words? you’re just proving that crimason’s actions are right. just by being a hypocrite at this point? i fear you don’t believe in karma, but karma exists man. humans also have conscience, and i believe you do also. it’s not like were not mad at crimason, but people like you shouldn’t do the same reason on why y’all are mad
@eun ♡ ˙‧₊˚:it is necessary, but there’s no need to do the same reason that became one of the causes of emman’s hate trains. though, if you’re being practical, there’s really no benefit for you if you continue to get mad and comment stuff about crimason. giving opinions will help, pero give her the lesson lang to not just apply the hate without a reason
@𝐜𝐮𝐰𝐢 ♡:why the helly will you tolerate and do the same shi? when youre so mad at it 😭 by your logic, this proves that you’re proving nothing.
@athy:literally what exactly did i say that would "hurt" crimason?? i pointed out that she joined the dogpile on emman—which is a fact, not harassment. calling out someone's behavior isn't the same as sending hate.
@athy:stop twisting my words. i never said to hate on anyone. i'm literally pointing out the difference between accountability and harassment. learn to differentiate before accusing people of things they didn’t say.
@athy:you're completely missing the point. calling for accountability isn't 'tolerating hate'. it's addressing the harm that started all of this. i literally acknowledged that some people are out of line, so stop twisting what i said just to feel right.
@athy:accusing me of what actually killed emman is disgusting. i've said repeatedly: some people went too far. my point is about accountability, not hate. stop twisting reality to defend the indefensible.
dumbass out of touch op:yes, calling out someone’s behaviour isn’t the same as sending hate. though to what you’re saying, you’re literally pointing that the hate train is still visible through your vision.
@athy: you keep missing the entire point. my original comment was pointing out that what emman went through was MASSIVELY worse than what crimason is experiencing now. calling them the 'same hate train' is insensitive because one was so severe it contributed to someone's death. yes, some people are being hateful toward crimason now—i've acknowledged that multiple times. but the scale, the context, and the justification are completely different. emman shared an opinion and got destroyed. crimason actively participated in tearing someone down and is now facing consequences.
you believe crimason has a conscience that will make her reflect, but you refuse to believe that people genuinely care about what happened to emman? you can accept that an abstract concept like karma exists, but not that real people are heartbroken and angry about losing someone? the majority of people speaking up aren't doing it to hate—they're doing it because they're devastated about what happened and don't want it to happen again. if you truly believed in conscience and reflection, you'd understand that speaking up IS part of how change happens. silence didn't protect emman. i'm done repeating myself.
