Girly Date

I have often dreamed of a girly date.  I mean that in the sense of a couple girlies having a friendly outing (obviously me being one of them).  But I’d want something more than a mere “meetup”.  I would imagine it as getting together with a girly boy friend at a shopping location in the morning.  Neither of us would be dressed very feminine.  Maybe androgynous with a little bit of a feminine flare.  Just casual “somewhat” male.  Then, we’d shop together.  We’d be looking for the outfits we could wear in the evening.  We would intend to match or compliment each other.  Maybe it would be a cute dress, a romper, a skirt and blouse combo.  Maybe it would be as simple as capris and a peasant blouse.  Of course, we’d need to find the right shoes and underwear.  Maybe the exact same.  And purses, jewelry, makeup, and nail polish.  Maybe we could get our toenails and fingernails done together before we went together to help each other dress.  We would be twinsies.  Then, of course, would be the fun of returning to a hotel or one of our homes and helping each other get ready.  We’d walk arm in arm as if we were best of friends.  We’d chat and gossip, share drinks, and enjoy a girls’ night out.  We’d be cute, feminine, and maybe a little flirty.  It would be all about the experience of being girly together, as friends…as sisters.  I think that would be lots of fun.
