The, as I called it, “nightmare corset” is finished (the name stems from the fact that, at a certain point, I actually had nightmares of this piece). It is a full torso corset body, the fashion layer is a heavy vinyl in fire red, decorated with black vinyl appliqué. It has a 50 cm long busk, a 58cm waist (< 23inches) a back lacing which extends up to the front and an additional stiffened back panel. The most special thing about this piece is that my client asked me to fully stiffen it with 15 mm wide and 1 mm strong steel bones - a real suit of armor! Making this corset was a pure nightmare and resulted in several injuries of my hands and wrists, broken tools (i need a new grommet setter and a new bone-inserter-toolie now), sleepless nights, shedded blood and tears and me terribly underpaying my work.  I’m honestly proud of myself and accomplishising this task, but… seriously: Never! Again!

On many requests: master’s stool. Can squeeze any hole apart, up to 12 cm diam.
