OPEN to m/f/nb. based off of this with axel being muse a. their relationship has always been rocky ; axel never physically cheated, but he would leave unexpectedly and didn’t always seem 100% committed despite the fact that he is, and always has been. he’s now suspicious that muse b retaliated and cheated / found someone new.

at this point, axel thought about calling before he showed back up to their shared apartment. despite being shared, he hadn’t been there a lot. things had gotten extra rocky, and when things got rocky ▬ he left. sometimes things were rock because he left, sometimes they were rocky because he wouldn’t come home. he wasn’t good with commitment, and he was even worse with feelings. however, after spending time alone, he wanted to find a way to make it up to them. to show how much he cared. however, upon walking into their apartment, axel was greeted with what could be his mind overthinking things, or what may have actually been his partner finally deciding they were tired of all of his shit. despite being a lawful decision, they had always had this silent agreement. no matter what, it would be the two of them, together. that definitely didn’t include the person who was comfortably cozy in THEIR apartment.  ❝ am i interrupting something ? ❞ he doesn’t mean to sound bitter, but he is.  ❝ actually, don’t answer that. i clearly am. i just came to talk. so if your … friend doesn’t mind … ?  i’d like to talk. ❞
