For two years, war interrupted my education and future plans.

Despite everything, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering and continued supporting students through educational initiatives in Gaza.

Today, I am taking the first step toward my Master's degree.

There are less than two weeks left until the end of the registration for a master’s degree at a university in Brazil.

I am trying my best, firstly, to complete my studies under these circumstances, and secondly, to get out of this genocide and the equal life we live.

I need $600, and I'm losing hope! I worked incredibly hard this month to reach that first $600.

So far, $75 has been raised toward my current goal.

I have already invested $600 from my own salary and savings because I believe in this opportunity and have done everything I can to make it possible.

Now, time is running out.

If I cannot complete the remaining amount before the deadline, I risk losing my place in the Master's program that I worked so hard to earn.

I’m not comfortable with talking about my situation online, but I feel like I need to do something before it’s too late.

I’ve been struggling with being disabled (mentally and physically) for years and my health has been gradually declining. I don’t know exactly what I have physically since I never had the chance to find out with my doctor, all I know is that my body is in constant pain where even standing is difficult. My younger brother is also disabled and we can only rely on each other. Our family refuse to even believe that we are ill. They would rather believe that we’re being malicious by “acting sick” than believe that we’re disabled. We have to deal with constant verbal abuse and neglect. We have been denied help for medical care as well. The last time I went to the hospital, my mother yelled at me in the waiting room and was angry the nurse for saying that I needed a wheelchair at the time. Then she refused to help me make it to my doctor appointments. I couldn’t go back since cus I rely on my family for everything, including transportation and being able to pay for the medical bills. I’ve been trying to apply for medical insurance, but I still don’t have it.

My brother and I are unable to work due to our disabilities. My brother has been trying to at least create content online, but it’s hard to be consistent when he’s also struggling. We live in Hawaii, so we can’t afford to just leave or stay. We’ve experienced homelessness for a short time and I don’t want to go through that again. But because neither of us can work and make a livable wage, idk what we will be able to do. Idk when our family will throw us out. All I want is to be able to move out with my brother, away from this family, and live. Hope is very low atm.

I’m sorry for publicly talking about this, but we need help. It’d be nice to have at least some money saved in the case we end up getting kicked out and also to be able to buy things we need in the meantime.

UPDATE JUNE 27TH

We've been 2 days in a motel, my father-in-law snapped again, he smashed some dishes. I got out with my kids for our safety.

We got enough for rent and other things but im regrettably using most of it to stay at the motel until my partner ends the arrangements so his dad visits his family 3 states away.

Im keeping this post up because we may need help affording transportation so we can be finally safe and back home and rent since living in a motel/hotel is more expensive than at home.

Someone got us the phones from our throne, thank you so much, i asked for a delayed delivery, hopefully things will be calmer so we can go back home.

we're back home but [father in law] keeps pressing and screaming, we had to take refuge in the mold room with our kids, he kept screaming at me outside the room until way past 3am idk how safe we are with him around the worst is we have to check before going out of the room to either go eat/drink or if we need to use the restroom we also ran out of water, we can't flush the toilet or wash our hands he made my partner, his son, fall down after he pulled his cane from him, now his ankle hurts we have had no peace since we came back still unsure what we'll do we don't want to leave our home

June 7 Hola, just updating that we're safe still at the hotel, we overslept after managing to fall asleep around 5-6am I made a call to my partner back home, he says it might be better if we stay here one more day or even two Right now our kids have only eaten cookies and I need to either buy food here or get them something ready to eat since there is no kitchen in the room. The room tonight is $110 considering paypal fees, i might just order a pizza for them I can eat the pineapple out of it We got some donations while we were asleep, thank you $150/$300 maybe a haircut for our girl since her grandpa managed to cut off some strands of hair in his attempt of making her a boy again fucking monster
