Ren: He'll go with water dragon because he's always loved the legend of Watatsumi– the Japanese water dragon and God of the sea. Even though dragons would be terrifying in real life, Ren always felt they had this charm to them, a type of beauty that's hard to put into words. There's a reason why they're an integral part of his culture. If Ren's going to be a mythical creature, he wants to look good and respectable.

Gakushuu: This might be unexpected, but werewolf. This is because Gakushuu at one point took an interest in the hypothetical lycanthrope physiology, which started a fascination with werewolves. He knows more about them than any other mythical creature. And yes, he's fine with the fur.

Seo: Griffin, just because it looks so cool and badass. His secretly fragile ego could use a nice majestic boost.
