A respite for those fleeing from the light

Blighting the clean forever in the night

The fallen willow whispers her name

The wanderer and wonderer her siblings infamed

Ever descending

Her eyes unrelenting

Her darkness unrepenting

The pure forever scowl

As do the bound

He stood upon a tall cliff looking out to the sea, everything was still almost lifeless except the air on that cold night except the air. He could smell something almost like a mix of salt and rust flowing up and towards him from beneath where he couldn’t see, which included much given that the sky was filled with enough clouds to conceal the light of the moon.

He walks closer to the sharp edge with every step comes a tiresome mix of fear and curiosity until he finally peers over to see it.

A figure who’s form was further hidden by robes staring directly back at him, the longer the time progressed the sound of chanting grew alongside a pale blue light that descended down from the dark sky revealing the face of the being, revealing a face that resembled a man but one side was covered in crimson crystals juxtaposing his one eye that had an ethereal blue hue to it.

The hair that was visible beneath the pale red robe was a beige color almost like the color of a maggot’s skin.

He opened his mouth and spoke one sentence.

“This is only the beginning”

New journey beneath the moon

Echidna.

My eyes open to see a creature above me it’s sleek blue skin was like a crystal and it’s head was like nothing I could describe other than a interlocking shape both hideous and beautiful.

It descended upon my body and placed an appendage upon my forehead.

“Tomorrow is the end of what you think your world is”
