I always get a little confused with the Voltron timeline/ages?. Like, it was a year after the Kerveros accident, but it took months for the ship to arrive, and then how long did the battle actually take until they were stuck on a planet that held them for 4 Earth years, and I'm not counting the 2 years Keith experienced, which were only months away.
But I do know I like the decimal system, so I say 10 years passed (before the Kerberos mission until the landing on Earth at S7) , and it's said that in Shiro's first appearance, he was 25, sooo
imagining a happy life, he and Adam sit down to talk like adults, After a while of all the emotional ups and downs, Shiro suddenly realizes that 10 years have passed just for a trivial comment, when for him it was only a few (besides, the astral plane, which he had no sense of time, so doesn't really know exactly how long he was there).
But Adam did spend every day of those ten years, the time from the ship's arrival on the moon of pluto, the year after their disappearance, then Keith disappears on the anniversary of his "death", and how long did it take them to tell him they weren't dead? Then the four years without any signs of life, only to end up being invaded by the Galra, and the year to travel to Earth
It's a quick sketch, and I still feel it would be shocking to think that your birth certificate says you're older than you've actually lived.
I don't think I'll make a final version, but I'd like to explore the idea.
