The blonde was merely sitting somewhere in the back of the school. It was already past his school-time, but his mentor called and alarmed him that she wouldn’t be able to pick him up on time, so he would have to wait for her. Dai could take the bus, but he preferred the smell of Aika’s car, the soft leather seats and the little pine tree hanging from the rear-view mirror much more than whatever a bus could offer.

Portland orange eyes were glancing at the scenery – in quotes – when a ginger haired girl appeared before his eyesight. She looked like she was rushing for somewhere – but definitely not the school, from what Daisuke can guess – when a small white sheet fell off her bag.

     Polly had come up with an oh so clever plan whilst listening to her science teacher chatter away during fourth period. When the bell goes off at the end of the day and students flock into the hallways, she has exactly seven and a half minutes before her maths teacher makes it back to the staff room. In that time, she had planned to quietly slip through the doors unnoticed, sneak over to his desk and nick off with the answer sheet of the upcoming test. Some may think that risking getting caught stealing wasn't worth passing a stupid little pop quiz, but Polly didn't.

          Her mother would kill her if she failed yet again.

     But things didn't exactly go the way she wanted them too. As the ginger was exiting the staff room, messily shoving the slip of paper into her bag as she did so, she failed to notice her maths teacher passing her and disappearing through the doors until the very last minute, hearing only his shouts of confusion and frustration as she sprinted down the hall. It was only when she skidded to a halt, cheeks flushed and panting, that Polly realized that her legs had taken her in the wrong direction, and that the answer sheet had fallen out of her bag.
