001. i'm not very active on tumblr as is, but this is all for fun & to talk about one of my favorite horror game series. don't expect me to be here 24/7 or to constantly be looking at my blog. i write and hangout here at my own leisure โก
002. it needs to be discussed here and now. silent hill 3 has a lot of triggering themes, and deep symbolism for a lot of horrors women go through. it's the nightmare coming of age story for heather mason that involves a horrifying cult that's been tracking her down to fulfill a disturbing prophecy where she is to give birth to their god. it talks about the awful scenarios that women experience on a daily basis of being stalked, lacking say in their body & choices. these are things i will talk about here, as they're important to her story and i will not ignore the trauma she experiences. i will not roleplay a lot of those things here, but will discuss them.
additional: since heather / cheryl is the reincarnation of alessa, she also obtains pretty much the same psychic abilities, but also doesn't experience illness & pain like most humans. i'll expand later on her abilities & what makes her unique.
003. i'm not interested in shipping. i don't plan to do any romantic ships here, please don't try. depending on the timeline, heather is only 17 anyway and that's gross to ship her as a minor. anything post silent hill 3 she's 18, and that timeline is continued on into dead by daylight. i'm always for platonic relationships like platonic soulmates, or familial situations. but you'll get no romantic ships here.
004. no hatred of any kind is tolerated here. i think this is a staple in most rules, and i don't think i need to elaborate much on it as 'no hate' is very straight forward. no 'phobic' behaviors or words of any kind. my patience is limited.
005. you'll probably see me use the names heather and cheryl interchangeably. for those that aren't aware, she changes her name back to cheryl at the end of silent hill 3. in dead by daylight she's known as cheryl. both names are correct to me, i don't care what you use. i know some silent hill fans are insufferable about it but i personally don't care. i'm aware a lot of people know her mostly from dead by daylight as cheryl, and that's fine! i'm not going to be an elitist about it.
cheryl heather mason is my baby, i love her with all my heart. i obviously main her in dbd, too. OH, and boy harsher & the cure are cheryl core. i'm so excited to join the horror rpc & write one of my long time favs with you all! โก

the world was forever in a state of surreal for her, nothing and no one felt right or safe. he could be from that creepy cult for all she knew! his eyes spoke kindness to heather, but deep down she was too hurt by so much to betray herself again. an exhale and brief roll of her eyes. ' i don't plan on adding you to the mix. '
cheryl's reactions to the monsters within silent hill are too relatable. and honestly? the fact she makes these little jokes is her response to fear. she's trying to downplay the situation at hand but she's traumatized, thanks. like her jokes are her coping. she's in the otherworld with these horrifying beings. she's alone. she has no idea what's going on. her adoptive father was killed by the very cult that's hunting her. she's trying to make sense of everything and humour is the way to go. her array of emotions that she also goes through is so understandable.
what was this? WHAT WAS GOING ON? who were these people? how did she get here? it was the sensation of utter anxiety and confusion, something she hadn't felt since- [ ... ] DARKNESS came for her. there was no possible way she was back in that hell, pursued by that cult, this felt different. there were people here that she didn't know. there was a campfire - yes! but her mind was cloudy, head spinning, everything happened all so quickly. she's faced hell once before, and did so alone, but now she faced a new nightmare with others. strangers. this was good, no? she only could hope. [ ... ] hope? it was something. just ... do the generators, activate the gates, and escape! โธป just do the generators. - five generators. - activate the gates and escape! mind raced, heart pounding as she found herself in a daze, wounded, her own blood on her hands. cheryl viewed the red liquid on pale palms, causing vision to blur. it hurt, pained groans as she'd make way for some cover. she'd apply pressure to the largest of her wounds, eyes glance up in a heavy breath, darting around in a panic. that's when she saw [ @frfld ] closing space on her, a brief sense of relief waved over.
