The Choreography For Both of Puzzle Girls' Debut Tracks Incites Awe In Netizens
March 7th, 2015
by Nadia Williams
Puzzle Girls or PZSN were already making waves for their gorgeous music video and both songs off their single album being ear candy, but a new conversation topic has emerged.
The choreography was partly praised when Hush, Baby's music video dropped, but after their debut stage it's all people can talk about. Namely the second verse where Bohyun sings and centers the choreography. Their legs nearly come to a stand still and the focus is brought to the member's arms. A screenshot of the members creating a sort of frame around the girls is going viral.
Immediately followed was the sequence that was the most talked about on Simver. In two short movements, the girls obscure every member's face except for three before revealing them all. Eagle eyed viewers also noticed how the members who eyes were unobscured were the members with "main" positions. The main dancer, singer, and rapper.
But it's not just the title track inspiring awe in viewers, it was also the stage for their b-side, "Pepe". Instead of specific moves and formations, Pepe started conversations for much simpler reasons. There weren't many screenshotable moments, but the choreography was high energy and perfectly executed. The girls provided such charismatic performances with the flourish added to their moves and their expressions.
Puzzle Girls' Debut Song and Music Video Release, Marking BLĂM Entertainment's First Debut in 8 Years
May 6th, 2015
by Nadia Williams
A new flower has BLĂMed in the legendary agency's garden after almost a decade. In Puzzle Girls' case, the blooming is literal. "Hush, Baby" the name of the lead single of PZSN's debut single album, "BOY TROUBLE", is paired with a music video of the girls in gorgeous architecture overtaken by nature. The beautiful scene is meant to be interrupted by PZSN's antics according to the plot of the video, but more often than not, the girls are adding to the scenery.
Immediately, the comments were filled with awe and amazement of how stunning the music video was and curiosity at how much the video costed. Even the impressive choreography added to the sublime feel of the video.
The music video gained so many views it broke the record for the most views in the first 24 hours. They once again went viral, the top two searches on Simver being "Hush, Baby" and "PZSN".
Along with that, one scene of visuals Cheon Bomi and Kim Yumi is being screenshotted and shared online. It features the two standing among the beautiful scenery. According to Netisims, they're the scenery.
Cheon Bomi's proportions- face and body- are perfect. There's nothing to improve.
I'm not hip on how photoshop or editing works nowadays, but there's no way that's the girl on the left's real waist, is it?
Yumi is truly a bunny. She has a more sexy aura usually but she's so cute here!
Kim Yumi is such a natural. She's beautiful and made for the camera.
-Were the sentiments of the top comments on a popular blog post of the picture.
But it wasn't just the overwhelming beauty of the music video that caught Netisims' attention. The song was described as delightful, an ear worm, and the perfect pop song. PZSN's main vocalist, Baek Bohyun, showed yet again just how skillful she is with her singing. Not only her skill, but her versatility. Her voice went from bright to sassy to serene all in one song.
As mentioned before, the choreography took the audiences breath away with it's intricacies. It was choreographed by Choi Junyeong, a popular choreographer that worked with all the top idol groups, but mainly PZSN's predecessor, Ki-Ti.
The song was composed by someone overseas, but that didn't stop local Netisims from recognizing the name. They weren't surprised someone like Kayla Sparx could pull off making a song sound quirky and ethereal at the same time. With the song being stuck in everyone's heads already and being universally praised, many are hailing it as an instant classic, happy to see Puzzle Girls solidifying BLĂM's legacy.
Netisims React To Puzzle Girls' Teaser Images and Position Changes
April 10th, 2015
by Seth Choi
Finally, after several months, we get the teasers of BLĂM's new girl group. Named Puzzle Girls, we've seen a lot of the girls. Just not anything we usually expect from a Sims-Pop group. At last, we have one of the most anticipated hallmarks of a new group. The teaser images before the debut that introduce us to the members and concept.
Netisims seemed to be just as excited, especially Jigsaw, Puzzle Girls' fandom. It is the first time the public has seen these girls all dolled up, or at least in a long time.
Speaking of which, a lot of attention was on Baek Bohyun. Previously a member of A.B.D which was the first group made by the Lucy Llama Club, many were anticipating Baek Bohyun's return to the idol industry. A lot of the public was re-introduced in Piece/By\Piece, but even more learned of her reemergence by this very photo. Many were rendered speechless by the soft elegance Baek exuded in the photo. Her long, wavy tresses framing her gorgeous features made the teaser image the most talked about image in the bunch.
The second most talked about image is obviously the viral visual herself, Cheon Bomi. The words "is she real?" started trending on Social Bunny the night the images dropped. Netisims didn't know where to start, her proportions, her tiny waist, her fair skin, her large eyes... the list goes on. You can't see her entire figure, but her small face and slender neck and legs give you the impression of a tall, thin, model-esque physique. One viral Social Bunny post saw it fit to clarify that FROST's Mirae looks like a doll, but PZSN's Cheon Bomi look like a fashion doll come to life. Head to toe.
Lastly, Netisims were pleasantly surprised to see leader Ahn Yeseul's beauty in her teaser. Many online echoed the sentiment that she was reminiscent of one's first love in high school. They expressed they knew she was pretty, but not to this extent. This s why most people understood the addended positions.
Speaking of the positions, the positions were originally revealed at the end of Piece/By\Piece, but when the official profiles were posted following the teaser images being posted, they were different. For one, Ahn Yeseul was added to the visual line while Park Byeol was removed.
There was a lot of discourse that slowly became heated. The fandom and general Netisims eventually cooled the conversation by reminding the public how little the title actually matters in the long run. According to them, a label or position doesn't suddenly make Park Byeol less or more beautiful with it's presence.
Reveal Of LL E&M Trainees Sends Shockwaves Through The Internet- Who's The Prettiest?
(cw: insulting people's appearance, slight racism (calling a Japanese woman an "anime girl"), misogyny bc it's always the scene of the crime)
April 4th, 2015
by Seth Choi
It is very common for companies to reveal and even promote their trainees. When it is done, the trainees rarely ever cause a stir like LL E&M's "LLRookies" did. The biggest reason? Two of them are very familiar.
The first familiar face most Netisims immediately recognized was Myeong Gaeun of Ki-Ti's sister, Myeong Jieun. The people disappointed that she wasn't apart of PZSN's final lineup were quickly assured by her inclusion in LLRookies. Netisims excitedly pointed out the trait she and her sister have in common- beauty. They more excitedly pointed out the more innocent edge to Jieun.
It took the internet a while, but they finally deduced why the trainee named "Hwang Dayeon" looked so familiar. In a shocking turn of events, two of the former A.B.D members have reemerged around the same time. Commonly known as "D" and the maknae of A.B.D, Dayeon hasn't changed much. Other than the fact that according to Netisims, her beauty has grown immensely as she blossomed into a young woman (julie note: I hated writing that).
Many comments were made regarding the other less familiar trainees, but one stood out. Hayashi Ami shocked Netisims with her porcelain white skin, tiny nose, and charismatic eyes. Her strikingly small frame and attractive figure was brought up as well.
Surprisingly, the debate for "prettiest LLRookie" became very heated and ended up derailing the discussion. Most Netisims boiled it down to different tastes, but others simple couldn't let it go.
Myeong Jieun is like the smaller, cuter, and more innocent Myeong Gaeun [1443, 12]
Both Hayashi Ami and Jin Jiyoung have amazing figures. Such tiny waists! [1320, 4]
I used to insist B was the prettiest in A.B.D.... if only younger me would've known how pretty Dayeon would become. Dare I say older Dayeon is prettier than older Bohyun? [1530, 108]
Ami omg... how can someone be so white? Is that even possible? [1234, 5]
Myeong Jieun is like a baby doll, Hayashi Ami is like an anime girl, Hwang Dayeon has the perfect idol look [1007, 8]
It's up to your personal taste, Hwang Dayeon immediately caught my eye. [900, 102]
If we're talking head to toe best looking? It has to be Hayashi Ami. If we're talking strictly facial beauty? Myeong Jieun. She's cute or whatever but Hwang Dayeon's not even in the discussion. [1143, 129]
Hayashi looks like a lizard, Hwang clearly relies on makeup enhancement. Myeong Jieun not only has the purest and softest look but her features are all perfect. Oval face, petite but attractive nose, plump lips, and gorgeous big eyes. [1399, 410]
Other than the fighting over the prettiest trainee, there has also been an outcry that this discussion is happening at all. People asking to just compliment the girls and leave it at that or why people care so much about looks.
After a lot of judgement cast toward people engaging in the discussion, the debate slowly died out. What is your take on the situation?

LL E&M, Previously Soar Records and Pebble Entertainment, Posts Their Talent List To Excited Reactions
April 3rd, 2015
by Nadia Williams
After merging Soar Records and Pebble Entertainment, LL E&M published their brand new website. Netisims started to notice that there was a "talent" page and took a look.
There were expected results, like Soar Record's pre-existing groups, RICA and KOMODO, and Pebble Entertainment's popular model, Jung Wooin. However, seeing Myeong Gaeun of Ki-Ti fame listed made people realize she was signed to Pebble Entertainment for her modelling endeavors. This means her sister, Myeong Jieun, listed as an "LLRookie", is signed under the same company after all. Netisims were previously saddened to learn Myeong Jieun wasn't apart of PZSN, a group under BLĂM where Ki-Ti is also signed.
Speaking of Gaeun, Netisims couldn't stop gushing about how little she's changed over the years. She has no makeup in the picture just like the other model, Jeong Wooin. They also pointed out the fact that this is the first time in her entire career that she's had black hair.
Netisims believe that this picture on LL E&M's page solidified her legendary visual status.
From Myeong Gaeun's unchanged visuals to Moon Yejin of RICA's shocking new look. Netisims claimed to not even recognize her until they read her name. While some criticize her for the obvious surgery, others compliment how amazing she looks.
Turns out Netisims were right. Though, it wasn't hard to extrapolate that seven trainees living together would turn out to be a group. Shockingly, the last episode of Piece/By\Piece revealed the group's name, the fandom name, and the official positions of the members. It's not so shocking once you take into account how we've been getting to know these women for around a month now.
With any news regarding any Sims-Pop group, there is a little controversy.
The first surrounding the leader of the group, Ahn Yeseul being well, the leader. Despite being the second youngest, some Jigsaw think Baek Bohyun should be the leader. The post on Social Bunny that stirred up the community reads as following:
"Why in the world isn't Bohyun the leader? While Yeseul was studying for exams, Bohyun was performing alongside Ki-Ti. Even now, Bohyun was leading the dance practice. And she's so professional and well spoken. Mature, talented and experienced? Am I the only one confused?"
Responses varied from utter agreement to vehement disagreement. Some think Bohyun is too young, some brought up mistakes Yeseul was making during dance practice, but one reply outshined others. Getting nearly as many likes as the original:
"All Yeseul had to do was speak to each girl to make them feel welcome and change their entire demeanor. It's clear a lot of you have a very naive view of what it takes to be a leader. It takes more than experience and skill to talk down a room of anxious and chaotic musicians."
What do you think?
The net was up in arms about another member, Park Byeol. Originally a unanimously loved member, she divided the new fandom after being repeatedly corrected during dance practice. The conversation got so tumultuous that it branched into sub-controversies. Two of the more notable ones is the fact that she was the only member to not prepare anything raising the question of her having any talents at all. The other was debating whether or not she's worthy of being in the visual line over none other than Ahn Yeseul.
It got so bad that any posts featuring Park Byeol on their new Simstagram have the comments turned off.
Overall, the public seems excited for the new girl group's debut. Whether it's because they're Ki-Ti's first juniors or because they instantly fell in love with some or all of the members.
After Today's Episode of Piece/By\Piece, Netisims Were Disappointed... But Only Briefly
March 24th, 2015
by Nadia Williams
The debate on whether or not younger sister of Myeong Gaeun, Myeong Jieun, would be debuting under the same company as her sister is seemingly over. The seventh and final member of what is speculated to be BLĂM's newest girl group was revealed, confirming that Myeong Jieun is not apart of the lineup.
There were posts flooding forums and the comment section of the episode about how annoyed and disappointed Netisims were, but they were quickly replaced with people claiming the last housemate looked familiar.
The housemate ended up being Baek Bohyun, the center of A.B.D. If the name is unfamiliar to you, you may have been outside of the young adolescent age range in 2008-2010. They were a group formed for the Lucy Llama Club.
Seeing her brought back a lot of memories for those young adolescents who are all grown up now. They flocked to different spaces online to share their memories:
Oh my gosh... she was my first love
Me and my friends would fight over who would get to be her when we were pretending to be in A.B.D hahaha
I was hoping she'd perform again, she always had something special!
I got into arguments that seemed very serious at the time about claiming B as our girlfriends LOL this makes me want to reach out to them again
I got that haircut because of her... it didn't look the same
Furthermore, Netisims who were familiar with her and weren't familiar were very impressed by her professionalism. Her vocabulary was robust and her speaking very formal. It made a good impression on most viewers.
Of course the highlight of the episode is when Baek Bohyun performed, showing how much her experience matters. Netisims labelled her as THE idol to end all idols.
After New Piece/By\Piece Video, Netisims Formed an Unofficial Unit Dubbed "BLĂM's Hamster Line"
From left to right: Kim Yumi, Lee Nayoung, Lee Huiyeon
March 22nd, 2015
by Seth Choi
With the reveal of Lee Huiyeon as the newest housemate in Piece/By\Piece, comparisons were immediately made between her and Kim Yumi.
In Kim Yumi's episode, the trainee compared herself to a hamster which is famously the animal used to represent Lee Nayoung (A.K.A Nalina) of Ki-Ti. This was met with a very small amount of pushback. Some people light heartedly suggested that she looked more like a bunny. Others didn't see the hamster resemblance and immediately attacked her for trying to latch on to her senior for fame.
However, after seeing Lee Huiyeon, people begun to see a slight resemblance between the two. Netisims began playfully referring to the two as siblings, Kim as the exuberant older sister and Lee as the understated younger sister. Fan art even started to emerge before the two had even been confirmed to meet.
Since Lee Huiyeon's resemblance to a hamster was undisputed, people reexamined Kim Yumi's claims. While having two people in one group both referred to as a hamster was considered confusing, the general consensus became that Yumi's official animal should be a bunny and Huiyeon's should be a hamster. In turn, the public have created the "hamster line", consisting of Kim Yumi and Lee Huiyeon and the original hamster, Lee Nayoung.
Lee Nayoung's role varies from oldest sister to mother to aunt, but it's consistently as their mentor figure.
NALINA Compared To Royalty in New Comeback Stage For "Love Myself"
March 20th, 2015
by Seth Choi
NALINA previously caused a stir with her first comeback stage with a scandalous outfit. Some people loved it while others criticized it for straying from her original image. Lee Nayoung was always seen as very classy, even being dubbed apart of the "regal line", a non-official unit of Ki-Ti consisting of her, Oh Minah, and Molly Kim.
A collage of the regal line from the 2012 Golden Llama Awards red carpet
From left to right: Lee Nayoung, Oh Mina, Molly Kim
So when people saw the outfit she wore in a more recent stage, people were pleasantly reminded of Lee Nayoung's days in Ki-Ti. Netisims also thought it fit the concept and song. By not going full classy-princess with a floor length ball gown and instead rocking a short, stylish dress, many saw this as a compromise.
The sass and charisma was still there, but she added that elegance that was not only requested from Nayoung but the industry at large according to Netisims.

BREAKING: New Episode of Piece/By\Piece Crashes SimsTube Due To The Beauty of the New Resident
March 17th, 2015
by Seth Choi
Piece/By\Piece, a show vague about it's participants and posted by BLĂM Entertainment, has been trending since the first official episode. The combination of the rumor that this is BLĂM's next girl group and the charisma and beauty of the members have helped it become a trending topic.
The two most popular members in terms of beauty so far have been Ahn Yeseul, the host, and Kim Yumi.
However, when today's episode was released it wasn't just the overwhelming beauty of one Cheon Bomi that garnered attention. It was her humble personality and good outlook. Her name trended almost immediately and people scrambled to watch the video, crashing SimsTube.
Once the site was back up, the video was #1 on trending.
Holy sh** [15034, 234]
Her proportions are good too. She's almost too perfect... [14239, 138]
I need her to drop her skin and haircare routine. Her hair is so thick and long... and I don't think she's wearing ANY makeup. [15649, 420]
I wish I looked like that in a sweater and jeans... she looks advertisement ready [16293, 532]
Ahn Yeseul is right, her name is just as pretty as she is. It's kinda f****** annoying lol [14034, 334]
And Myeong Gaeun's sister is going to be in this group too? Between Cheon Bomi, Kim Yumi, and Myeong Gayoung this group is stacked visually. [13239, 402]
I can see them through the shirt teehee [1024, 16439]
BLĂM Entertainment's has now grown in subscribers to keep track of the group. It is also reported that this week's episode of Running Sim has tanked in viewership because it ran around the same time this was all happening.
NALINA Stuns and Scandalizes Netisims With First Comeback Stage Outfit
(tw: misogyny and sl*t-shaming)
March 5th, 2015
by Sarah Smith
While her music video for her first comeback single "Love Myself" was very dazzling and glamorous, NALINA gave a more chic feel in her comeback stage. Donning a @serenity-cc black off the shoulder sweater & matching black boots, but the more contentious detail is her @aharris00britney jean mini skirt.
Many thought the skirt was an inappropriate length and lamented over a perceived "lost innocence" of the 2nd Gen Sims-Pop idol. Being the maknae of legendary group Ki-Ti, she was always seen as a cute, pure idol. Her solo debut enforced this vibe with a wistful sound, short bob, and doll-esque styling.
(NALINA circa 2014 performing So-So)
From people simply being at the concept change to people theorizing at some sort of dark transformation, there is no shortage of disappointment.
However, "Love Myself" is still doing very well, outperforming her debut's initial reception in sales and initial chart performance. The song even performed a PAK like her debut and like her group is famous for doing 9 times in a row. So far, it seems like online discourse has also been dominated by overwhelming support. The criticism, while apparent, is not the majority opinion.
Netisims believe that the change in concept is exciting and enjoy the sassy, quirk-filled elements of this comeback. If you recall, the concept of the music video also garnered mixed reactions. However, people are referring to the contentious elements as eccentric and iconic.
Here's what Netisims had to say exactly:
I knew she wouldn't let us down. This is Lee Nayoung we're talking about. [5129, 472]
Is it weird to say this feels like a classic? [5001, 450]
Nation's It Girl for ya! [4720, 403]
She feels even more deserving of the "Nation's It Girl" title now. [5034, 723]
Ki-Ti strikes again! I can't wait for Im Yebin's movie this year! [4037, 37]
The outfit is STUNNING. I've never thought of buying clothes because of an idol but maybe this time. [5536, 834]
That skirt is kind of iconic. The whole thing actually. [5938, 1100]
*sigh*... another good girl gone bad. [2384, 1340]
That skirt is a little too extreme. [2143, 1422]
This looks like something Myeong Gaeun or Im Yebin would wear for a solo. This doesn't fit our baby hamster at all! [1732, 1420]
Times are really changing for the worst. She used to be someone I'd want my daughters to look up to, now she's influencing kids to dress like that. (edit: why are you downvoting me?? one of the top comments are proving me right!) [1420, 1204]
All female idols have to do is dress like wh*res and they'll be successful. Shameful. [923, 1239]
Music Video For NALINA's First Comeback "Love Myself" Dropped To Mixed Reactions
March 4th, 2015
Sarah Smith
Netisims were shocked when they tuned in to the latest music video from the nation's girl group's first soloist. Ki-Ti's Lee Nayoung, or NALINA, stuns in lavish gowns and a stunning new makeup style, but all the attention was on the soloist dawning the outfit from her initial debut in 2007.
(left, Myeong Gaeun; right, Lee Nayoung)
With the combination of the teaser pictures and the music video, Netisims deduced that the meaning of the song and visuals is NALINA wanting others and herself to love her in all her multitudes. Whether she's all done up, in outdated styling, in her natural state, or a cartoonish costume.
However, some Netisims were put off by the scenes of NALINA feeding her younger self. Some people expressed discomfort of the romantic gesture when she would have been 17 at the time, others felt a romantic gesture was strange period because it was with herself.
NALINA took to social media to clarify the gesture was never meant to be romantic, only a platonic act of affection toward a less confident version of herself. She claimed it was meant to symbolize self care and healing old wounds.
Overall, the quirkiness of the music video was controversial. Some sims didn't like it, especially compared to the sincerity of her solo debut, but to others it solidified her as the It Girl of Sims-Pop.
Piece/By\Piece Weekly Recap; A Charming Girl Enters The House
March 3rd, 2015
Nadia Williams
It is true, the newcomer Kim Yumi is charismatic. Yes, she is beautiful. And yes she is model material. But what really caught everyone's attention was Yeseul mentioning "music videos" that they would both be in and Yumi saying Yeseul is going to be the leader.
To Netisims, this confirms that this is a girl group in the making. So far we have three members, and this week Yumi was the first to pick the second bedroom.
Since there is an odd number, we have yet to see who Yumi's pair will be. Will she be picky and wait to see who she wants to pair with or will she immediately click with the next person.
After Being Spotted Training, Sister of Ki-Ti's Visual is Speculated To Debut Under Same Company
March 1st, 2015
by Sarah Smith
While Myeong Gaeun has focused more on her acting career since Ki-Ti's hiatus, she and the rest of her members have remained under Starfish (now BLĂM) Entertainment. Netisims seem to believe that her younger sister, Myeong Jieun, has joined her.
A channel titled "Coming Soon..." posted a video that features a medium-large sized girl group dancing to off screen 8 counts. The video doesn't show the lineup in depth with the exception of one, Myeong Jieun.
a frame from the video entitled "Girl Group in the Making"
Before she was identified, she was known as the "bare-faced beauty" from online posts and a trending search. Once she was identified, people recalled the series being posted to BLĂM's official YouTube page. Mostly the fact that there are seven beds in the dorm and this video features more than six girls and that all of the members haven't been revealed yet.
Fans are hoping both the series and this video are promotion and that the new BLĂM girl group is coming very soon.

Netisims PLEAD For BLĂM Entertainment To Zoom In On The Women In Their New YouTube Series
February 27th, 2015
by Sarah Smith
As previously covered on Siimpi News, BLĂM Entertainment has started a new series on YouTube called âPiece/By\Pieceâ. In the first episode we were introduced to who seems to be the host of the series, Ahn Yeseul. The videos are vague about the premise, but the second episode confirms that each person featured will be living under the same roof. This is fueling the theories that these women are the members of the long awaited new girl group from BLĂM Entertainment.
That has never been confirmed but the fandom for these girls is still going strong. Especially after the reveal of the second housemate, Park Byeol.
Some viewers mentioned how touching and relatable the episode was, happy to see Yeseul and Byeol talk about how scary being an introvert can be.
However, most viewers were praising how beautiful they were even without make up. FROST was even brought up but only so they could be compared unfavorably to these girls. With the recent photoshop controversy, people were thanking BLĂM for showing what these girls actually look like.
But BLĂM was also met with frustration at the lack of close up shots of the girls. Because of this, there are no high quality images for the internet to fawn over. Just blurry, zoomed in screenshots from the videos.
Viewers are hoping that if the trend of beautiful women keeps up for this project that the company will listen.
