Signal Failure

I didn’t really pick anything for my wedding because whenever I liked something, my mom just bought something else anyway or added something extra to it. Or she told me after the fact that she’d found a perfect whatever so she already got it for me. She really likes decorating and she was very interested in a look and style, and I didn’t and still don’t care.

It’s the perfect summer assignment because it’s fairly easy now (after 4 years here, it’s barely prep, more like selecting and organizing which of my favourite activities are best for these students and their interests) but it’s not boring because there are new students all the time and new ways to improve my classes.

Visiting the doctor: That thing that hurts? It’s probably nothing, try some yoga. Come back in 6 months and if it’s still painful, I’ll ask if you’re stressed and maybe give you a Tylenol.
