i wanna make a few changes to atlas / this blog. first, iâve been thinking a lot abt atlasâ hood/why they wear it/the look of it/material/etc and, iâve decided the hood changes constantly. theyâre usually very covered/hidden but depending on the environment, theyâll adapt - lighter/darker colours, thinner/warmer materials, etc etc (the fc from journey was really just the closest thing i could find to what i had in mind)
(also, no, they donât sleep in the hood. and yes, they DO have a human face under that thing)
anyway the real point of this post is that i might start using a Person Fc for atlas???? iâm thinking d/aisy ridley?????? the issue is, obviously, the hood. but reyâs get up at the start of tfa
is a big atlas look. the hood is generally more brightly coloured but theyâre constantly adapting it to suit new environments - so it would make sense to wear greys and darker tones to blend into a surrounding that isnât, like, a brightly coloured space desert with 3 suns
also, because theyâve been exploring for a while, meeting all sorts of different looking aliens, they might be more comfortable showing their face? it came out of necessity living on a different planet - it was considered a bit odd, but not as odd as a human - plus, it kept the dust out of their mouth/eyes/nose. but, especially on earth, theyâll just blend right in. so! theyâll still be a bit skittish, but itâs definitely something iâd like to explore!!!
