As the Dodging the Column cassette is now officially released I wanted to show some love for Jason Pierce who did all of the artwork for this. Currently Jason is living and working out of Louisville and owns Mperfect Design. I met Jason back in the later 90s while he was making all sorts of awesome stuff happen in Indianapolis via his job at Luna Music. He booked Wolfie on our first (only) big tour and I still remember that show. The Impossible Shapes opened. All through this Jason was releasing and promoting music via the Recordhead label as well with his own Mr. Whiggs imprint. When I needed a home for my National Splits and solo projects Jason welcomed me and my albums with open arms. Thank you for keeping me afloat Jason!! And all the while he has been doing artwork and layout for Guided By Voices and family. We're talking about one of the, in my opinion, most visually-interesting collection of bands in history here. Safe to say I'm honored to know Jason and to have him along in this project as well as everything he has helped me with in the past. GET DOWN!

Secret buried thing: If you scroll in 2 hours on the latest (from 3/15/15) Gimme Tinnitus Radio Time episode you’ll hear a new Shy Mirrors song from the upcoming tape.

Rumor has it a 4-pack of Dodging the Column tapes made their debut on the merch table at a club called The Gutter in NYC last night. I wasn't there or else I would've bought one. Oh, and will someone please buy the last copy of Wrong Bomb so we don't have to look at it any more?

Jason Pierce (Mperfect Design) did all of the art, design and layout for the upcoming Dodging the Column tape. This collage of his is being used as a background to the lyrics and liner notes! Pre order is up, limited to 100 tapes!
