1st Row is based on the English Calendar the month starts every 1st and ends either on 30th or 31st of each month. This is the same as in English, but the pronunciation slightly varies with the English one. This is based on the Hindu Calendar. When a new moon (Amaavaasya) occurs before sunrise on a day that day is said to be the first day of the lunar month. So it is evident that the end of the lunar month will coincide with a new moon. A lunar month has 29-30 days (according to the movement of the moon). It starts from Chythr and ends with Phaalgun.

Imperatives
Hi !We have covered topics like
Personal Pronouns
,
Auxiliary Verb
,
Verbs in Present Tense
etc. Now we will do a topic on IMPERATIVES. It is quite simple. We will learn how to use Verbs in Imperative form. What are Imperatives ? Imperatives are used to command or request a person to do a thing. Only Second Person Pronouns are used here. That is तू(thoo), तुम(thum), आप(aap). We already know detailedly about the three Pronouns so I will go to Imperatives topic now. तू आ ।You comeThoo aaतू बैठ ।You sitThoo baeyt
तुम आओ ।You comeThum aaOतुम बैठो ।You sitThum baeyto
आप आइये ।Please comeAap aayiyeआप बैठिये ।Please sitAap baeytiye
When 'तू'(thoo) is the subject the sentence ends with root verb in a imperative form.
When 'तुम'(thum) is the subject 'ओ' is added to the root verb,आ(aa) +ओ(o) =आओ(aaO)
When 'आप'(aap) is the subject 'इये' is added to the root verbआ(aa) + इये(iye) = आइये(aayiye)There are 3 most used common negative words in Hindi. They are'मत'(math)‘न'(na) 'नहीं'(nehi)
The negative sense in the Imperative is expressed by adding 'मत'(math) meaning Don't before or after the verb.Eg: तू मत जा ।(Thoo math jaa) You don’t go. तुम मत जाओ ।(Thum math jaaO) You don’t go. आप मत जाइये ।(Aap math jaayiye) Please don’t go. Sometimes ‘न'(na) is used in the place of 'मत'(math) to express the negative. It is milder in sense than मत.Note : 'नहीं'(nehi) is never used in Imperative sentences. I hope it was easy as I said. Go through all the lessons well and keep waiting for another lesson shortly. Have a nice day. Please do comment on the lesson to improve more.
