It's crazy that we are nearly halfway through the semester. I can't believe we just finished the fifth issue of The Slate for this year.

This week was fairly typical for me. I paid bills, sent bills, received checks, did edits, sized ads, sent emails, sent faxes, placed ads, and attended meetings. At least, that is a brief summary. 

Along with the typical festivities of my week, I also began training the new advertising director. I went over the media kit, InDesign and Photoshop with him. We discussed him going out to local businesses to get more ads. 

Other than training the ad director, my week was pretty calm. I performed my usual duties as managing editor and helped Chelsea with her tasks too.
