Peko hardly ever left the academy for her own affairs. While some students would go out to town or to shop on the weekends, the swordswoman spent her time training diligently in the dojo or studying, cooped up in her dorm. She was never one to have very many social obligations, or one to have very many ‘friends’ who would invite her out on such outings. However… being cooped up for so long certainly wasn’t healthy, so this evening in particular she decided to stray past the academy’s gates and to a park nearby. If only to walk and then make a hasty return.
She pulled the ends of her coat together as an attempt to keep herself warmer, watching her breath float up into the air in coiling, smoky clouds. There were no animals out playing… a result of the blistery, winter air she presumed. She missed watching the birds… witnessing the occasional squirrel darting across the courtyard. Even still, it wasn’t like she would be able get close enough to pet them. Perhaps the chickens kept inside the school could provide temporary relief for this dilemma…?
She resurfaced from her thoughts at the sound of footsteps behind her. She narrowed her red pair of eyes just slightly. She turned her head, braids whipping with the motion as she readied her hand to reach for her shinai, should she need it.
"Who’s there?"
{ Souda could not help but giggle a little. He had almost succesfully snuck up to a kendo master. Had he only been a little more careful, he might have gotten a few moments for himselves to look at the girl in complete silence. Not ever was he expecting her to understand what he was doing so the boy considered running away from the cold, unreachable swordswoman. That's when he realized he should act like a man and he opened his mouth. "Pekoyama, I was just, y'know looking around to see if there might be any spare engines or parts that I could tinker with..." he said with a grin.
”B - Boring…? Tch, y - you…” Fukawa hissed. The literary girl turned around, her back facing him. It was clear that she was deeply insulted.
”… Y - You…. You…dirty.. trash… sock! … After hearing s - such a remark, I would… never write anything for your girlfriend… !”
"Heh, dirty trash sock..." "It's just books anyway, you don't have to get so revved up for something so simple as book... Machines and engines, that's where it's at!"
✚ ] Tsumiki’s cheeks were burning. Sure, Hinata treated her nice - better than anyone had ever treated her before. And yes, she did really enjoy his company… He made Tsumiki feel accepted for once.

"Ah…O… Oh, not m - much really… I just finished c - counting and organising the shots at the pharmacy… And you, Souda-san?"
" Hah, well I wouldn't bet on that. Me putting a needle into someone? Yikes. " " Counting shots, eh? Well i was just looking for something to tinker with... I haven't been able to rip open something mechanical in a while and just enjoy it, much like I would have done a to girl, right? " Souda said, with a perverse smile.
