APPLICATION FOR: Jun Shinobu
Super High-School Level: Game Developer
"Oh, erm... Nice to uh, meet you!" He smiled, extending a hand. "Shinobu Jun, Super High-School Level Game Developer, at your service."He listened cautiously, then pursed his lips. "Well, I make video games! I mostly do RPGs or visual novels with some element of romance and comedy. Can't forget action, though!" A nervous chuckle. "I.. I hope that was the answer you're looking for. Um... Y.. Y-Yeah." He grinned, hoping that that encounter would be the birth of a new friendship altogether.
Skill #1: He has quite a way with words, a fantastic grasp on language. He tends to change the way he speaks depending on who he's interacting with. He can be rather fanatical and loud when comfortable, then shy and timid the next.
Skill #2: He knows some basic programming language, nothing too major, but he can definitely reprogram minor things and do a little bit of hacking.
Strength: His mind is always racing, thinking of infinite possibilities and ideas. Scenarios, he calls them. He can be imaginative or logical about them, either or are completely possible.
Weakness: Because of his ability to think of many, if not most, scenarios, he is easily distracted, not to mention forgetful.

- 1. "What made your character discover their talent, or what first got them interested in pursuing it further?"
Jun had always been interested in storytelling, growing infatuated with the idea of audience participation- specifically, the idea of stories that were influenced by the actions of others, affected the final outcome.
He's had such a flair for coming up with ideas, often on-the-spot, then developing them further and further until they were almost fully fleshed out. He started with simple tabletop games and moved onto using a computer once he figured out how to use simple programming language.
This was in his early teens, around thirteen years old. Time passed and he became well known for his intricate, yet endearing tales of whatever he had in mind.
- 4. "One of Hope’s Peak Academy’s requirements is that you are already enrolled at a high school in Japan. What was it like at your character’s high school, before they were invited to Hope’s Peak?"
He was quiet, perhaps likable to some, but known as a bit of an oddity. Jun was praised during language classes for having a firm grasp of the subject, but ridiculed for having a weaker hold on things like mathematics and economics. Despite that, he did like science quite a bit.
He was more like one of those students that people knew about, but didn't really communicate with unless it was necessary. The type where if he left, nobody would really notice. Leaving the school with that kind of reputation was a little easier on him, as there wasn't much to leave behind. Jun was a little teary at the thought of leaving his English teacher, though.
- 5. "Imagine your character has been voted as a culprit during a trial - regardless of whether they were guilty or not. What would their execution be like? This doesn’t have to be set in stone - it can be changed later in the game! But let us know about some ideas you have! Write it as if it is actually happening."
Jun would attempt a calm facade, despite his trembling body and racing mind. His face would pale as he realized, he was in an empty area, much like in his beloved games. A text box would appear in front of him, spewing fake dialogue- he's not really speaking, but the words are there and he's wondering if people really think that's what he's saying, but no, no it isn't, please don't believe it!
A sound would ring out and he would turn, seeing something in the distance. A cute girl would appear and he would have no choice to fight, her health points towering over his own.
It would be a turn based battle, he would be flailing and choosing commands, unable to land any blows on the enemy. Finally, almost dead, his special attack meter fills and he uses it. He damages the enemy, but only by one point. In turn, the enemy's special attack meter fills and kills him, leaving only a text box splattered with the infamous pink blood, with the words "YOU DIED" over his remains.
