In which Wukong finally faces punishment from Buddha by getting trapped under Five Phases Mountain! He totally had it coming after his rampage, though I do feel a bit bad that he'll have to stay under there for a long while ^^;; But at least it won't be for forever!

For the doodle, I decided to render Buddha since he's, y'know, the Buddha XD I initially thought of drawing Wukong emerging from Laozi's furnace with his glowing eyes, since that's when he goes absolute ham on Heaven; maybe I'll try it in a future doodle loll

I like to imagine Wukong takes grooming very seriously; even though Sanzang has no head hair, he still has his lashes and brows, so Wukong will stubbornly insist on grooming those if nothing else XD Note to Bajie, don't insult the Monkey King of all people when it comes to keeping clean! >:)

Also, while drawing these, I recalled @tuima11's note about the "32 Characteristics of a Great Man" and how one of them is having cow-like eyelashes, so maybe that influenced this scene in some way loll

So I usually try and color all the pages but I’ve been very busy recently and soon even more,, so I think it makes sense when I say that chances are that future updates are not gonna be colored for the foreseeable future,,, or at least only the first page will🤔🤔🤔 mainly cause i really want to get into the next section of chapters that ive been wanting to draft for the longest lmaoo
