Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āI think thereās a Red Rocket nearby- we could cover the doors and rest there, orā¦ā Laura frowned as she thought- this was probably the furthest west sheād been in the Commonwealth, truth be told. Sure, sheād spotted the Red Rocket, but anywhere else was merely a question or possibility.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āI think I heard about a nearby area with trailers, but itās infested with ghouls. A sattelite array is further west, too, but itās filled with raiders.ā Apparently, caravan gossip was somewhat useful- so far, the only acceptable option seemed to be Red Rocket, at least in Lauraās eyes. At least it was certain to be empty, or near enough that it could be easily emptied⦠She was practically ignoring James in her own, private brainstorm, searching her memory for any other locations that could work as temporary shelter for the trio- and, after a moment, she snapped her fingers in sudden excitement.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āThereās a shelter! For the, ah- The Mayor of Boston! I donāt think anyoneās ever gone in, at least that Iāve heard of. Would that work?āĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā āYou really think no oneās ever gone in?ā If it were solely up to him, James would opt for the Red Rocket. Even the ghoul-infested trailer homes and raider filled buildings seemed a safer bet than wandering off into an unknown bunker. Any number of hostile wasteland creatures could be occupying it. The faint hope that it was untouched wasnāt worth pursuing.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Alternatively, Kate was torn. Traversing to the Red Rocket would be the easiest and safest route, but not necessarily the best place to stay. The dilapidated building would be difficult to properly secure, and the idea of getting a good nightās rest without any of them being subjected to guard duty was tempting.Ā āWe could scope the place out if itās not too far,ā she suggested, her tone measured as she watched for Jamesās reaction.Ā āItād be a lot easier to make our way back to Diamond City if we donāt spend half the night worrying about what might get into that old gas station.ā
