I hate drawing sometimes because I get a cool idea, I sketch it out and then – comes the lineart

Why, oh why, do I do this to myself…

Now I’m stuck, because I REALLY don’t want to spend several hours on feathers, but it would also be VERY COOL to see my idea be fully realised and it wouldn’t be what I’m aiming for without them.

Just sketched out a vision I had in a dream and.. damn. Even looking at what little there is so far feels far too personal and I’m not sure what to feel. It’s like my heart got violently ripped out, but then tenderly stitched back. But it still aches. I can’t think of anything to describe it properly.

STUPID STUPID STUPID!! I’M SO MAD AT MYSELF RIGHT NOW!!!! I was at hockey practice and I was doing SO well during the last game. But guess what. I had the puck, I was right at the goal – I was A BREATH away, and what happens? I. fall. right. before. scoring.

Oh, and if that wasn’t humiliating enough, the clock announced that practice was over RIGHT AFTER I LANDED ON THE ICE. So my teammates didn’t even have an opportunity to salvage the point. Right right righttt… My vocabulary isn’t adequate to describe the humiliation and rage I feel right now. Oh my days, give me strength to withstand and overcome my own lack of skill.

Watching Castlevania right now and OH MY DAYS.. I remember now why I can’t watch any show in a medieval setting that isn’t just about romance or comedical. The inability to see further than their old ways is actually UNBEARABLE!!!
