Slowly coming to in an unknown location, Shaun, still under the heavy influence of drugs, finds himself surrounded by indiscernible, demonic-like figures. A large, imposing man (whom Shaun believes to be the devil in his current state of mind) soon approaches him, demanding that Shaun disclose information of his men as a test of knowledge. In his disorientated state, Shaun recalls his experience at Hallucigen, and describes how the hunters had succumb to the toxic gases and mutilated one another, unknowingly naming the head of their guard in the process. This causes the man to excitingly declare that Shaun possesses "the sight", and has his followers drag him away as he slips into unconsciousness once more.

Some time later, Shaun awakens once again to find himself imprisoned within a concrete cell, alongside another person who is being kept alive on heavy life support. He fails to initiate conversation with them before the man appears outside of the bars, joined by a small group of armed individuals. When the man excitedly tries to offer Shaun a lump of meat, he refuses, shifting attention to his cellmate by insisting they are in more dire need of food than he is. The man complies, angrily lashing out at everyone except Shaun, whom he seemingly holds a strange fascination with.

After the men leave, Shaun's cellmate finally speaks to him, openly criticizing his actions and casting suspicion toward his being there. Though Shaun maintains his innocence and obliviousness of the situation, his cellmate holds him in disbelief for some time until her questioning leads Shaun to question her back.
