just a little more info regarding morgan’s mutation + ability:
his main mutation focuses on probability manipulation, more specifically the causation of bad luck
he can make things happen, but he cannot predict what and how they will happen ( i.e. he can curse someone but he cannot control how the curse will manifest, whether it be physical harm, financial, etc. )
for his powers to affect you, you must be close to him or he must actively touch you with intent to place a curse. people who spend more time around him are also susceptible to accidental bad luck, hence his tendency to not stick around in one place for too long.
like with every power, there are weaknesses and limits. examples: he is limited to things that are possible. when trying to manipulate a given event, he can’t make the impossible happen and he can’t prevent the absolute from happening ( i.e. cannot make a world in which a given thing exists and does not exists in the same sense at the same time ).
strong emotions also have an affect on his powers. he finds that if he has a sudden fit of angry or sadness, the higher the chance for something bad to happen in his general area ( whether it be to himself, an unfortunate passerby, or [ in a rare instance ] a whole crowd is unknown as the effects are beyond his control ).
