seeing a lot of posts condemning “pussy grabs back” as cissexist and although i would agree that it is not the perfect “women’s march” slogan by any means i would urge you all to keep in mind that it is a direct response to trump’s violent statement and therefore makes sense as a phrase of political retaliation …..like obviously there should be many other myriad phrases and slogans for protesting that aren’t as exclusionary but i don’t think we should be shaming those who wielded “pussy grabs back” signs today since those signs are in active & necessary conversation with sexually violent remarks made by our president and the people wielding those signs are absolutely at liberty to respond directly in that way. anyways perhaps try to have some nuance in your thought today folks

yes yes yes. we need to remember: not all women have vaginas, and not all people who have vaginas are women, but all vaginas are a probable site of violence, and as such they have a place in the conversation. 

the legal system is a little boring i think. evidence and testimonies are great and all but i think things could be improved if before making a point lawyers have to have a sword duel. it’d be more exciting

But consider this, not spreading hate, but spreading love and wisdom. We are better than this and we can still stand together if we learn to be open minded and love one another, regardless of their beliefs or political standings. I’m so tired of the hate in this world, we need to step off of Trump and Pence, and have hope that they might not be as bad as we think. Don’t spread hate, please. Be a good example to others by showing maturity.

tumblr now is a very weird place for kids to grow up with like ngl….. I had a tumblr from the time I was 12 onwards and like back in 2012 it wasn’t that bad just kind of cringy and fandomey but now tumblr has become a lot more political and it’s full of very polarizing opinions and 12-14 year olds are plunging headfirst into that it’s scary because these kid’s critical thinking skills and personalities arent fully developed yet, and they’re just beginning puberty which is a trying and confusing emotional stage of life… and they’re practically being FORCED into “choosing a side” in a very aggressive environment where they’re criticized for having the Wrong opinions and aren’t given a chance to learn and think for themselves and I think we all know someone our age who’s so obviously a product of Tumblr Foolishness and it’s scary to think people will be going out into the world thinking like this website does. yikes

people who say offensive shit cause they think it’s funny or edgy are honestly so embarrassing
