i really love that instead of making the message of the episode be 'excess worry gets in the way of enjoying life so even when there is reason to be cautious you should make sure you're not overdoing it 😇', they went with 'no yeah you SHOULD be worried. you should be MORE worried actually paranoid isn't enough'. we're fast approaching death note levels of mind games here and it's great.

i think there'd be alot less discourse around "fanfic vs literature" if more people treated fanfiction as it's own medium with it's own strength and weaknesses, rather than comparing it to traditional literature, because most of what i love about fan-fiction just straight up does not work in original fiction. at all.
