Fairy Tail - Lucy AU
This starts right after Natsu gets back from his training, Lucy is a model, writer and journalist and was able to get Fairy Tail back together. Instead of feeling happy about everything like in the show, she is extremely depressed about this full year where all her friends abandoned her. She slowly starts to not go on Team Natsu missions anymore, because after everything, she feels more comfortable with her spirits than Fairy Tail
They kept her company, trained with her, and helped her in days she could barely get out of bed. After going on a solo mission, she meets a strange man who has heavenly body magic, but begs her for her to train him in celestial magic. From this point on, Lucy, this man, and her spirits become inseparable
Can you tell I loved Lucy leave Fairy Tail fics as a kid? Yeah
This one she does not leave Fairy Tail, it's still her home and she has a great amount of love for everyone there, but she needed a change. The timeline here is different and there's another grand magic games before things start going to shit

Voltron - New age
Instead of trying to fix whatever that last season was, I decided to just make a new team, since Allura sacrificed herself for the lions, we are getting these damn lions!!
With a new team of young, brave and hopeful riders, that were personally selected by the lions themselves, they embark on what they thought would be an adventure after the universe is at peace, and instead find messes, places still suffering after years of wars, and new challenges that Voltron never had to deal with before
The team has a Galra, an Altean, a human, a mixed alien and a prince from another planet as the leader
Later, the prince has to step down to go back to his planet, and another rider is chosen, who's very close to the red pilot
Includes: Klance but also Keith x James, and another AU
Voltron - Behind the scenes
Instead of focusing on the Voltron team, this part of the AU focuses on things that are happening in universe while the team isn't looking
It shows a cult, singers, a galaxy with 3 planets, space travel and how people manage without magic lions, dreams being destroyed on earth and the dangers of royalty
Following a singer, a game developer, a team of idiots, the prince and a young god
Merlin - Yep, he's banished!
(not) Surprisingly, this all started with a love potion and a visiting prince with his sister, but unlike usual, who drank the potion is Merlin, and the visiting prince
What follows is a series of events with everyone annoyed at the new couple being cutesy, Merlin being thrown out of the closet, Arthur having to kiss Merlin to break the spell, revealing hes in love with his best friend, and Merlin's magic being revealed after trying to help this family
He's banished, which makes a series of even crazier events, involving wyverns, adopting kids, a vampire king and even better, Will is back, somehow?
For a year, Arthur learns more and more about Merlin, everything he has done, everything he is, while thoroughly regretting ever banishing him, feeling empty without his presence and help

I didn't even make her to date anyone I just wanted her to be there, get better, go to magic school, and generally be a nuisance if she visited the limoeiro
Tiger and Bunny - Hey so I also wanted my character there
He's a singer, can you tell I love singers? A very famous one. When he hears his idol, Kotetsu is stepping down from his hero spot, he takes it as an opportunity to become the hero he always wanted to be
He's older than Barnaby but younger than Kotetsu, having a fine balance with the two characters
While trying to tackle heroism, family matters, his singing, an illness and the being targeted in both industries, he breaks
Fnaf - Cyborgs age
After working for years at the pizzaplex, Mangle and many of her coworkers are suddenly fired to open space for prettier, shinier, younger half animal entertainers. Mangle is left scrambling to find a new job and purpose in life, while thinking Fazzbear Entertainments would always be there for him

Genshin - God Baizhu
Baizhus journey into becoming immortal, everything he has to sacrifice, and everything he gains from it

Basically in this one, I (and a large group) was experimented on to have powers and become a hero, we were saved by Five and the rest of the Umbrellas
A few months later, I am thrown into the past, in Hawkins with the cast of Strangers Things, and have to get used to a new life in the 80s. The timeline started to break, so it was split in two by God-Me, with a version where I stay in Hawkins and i don't exist in the future, and one where the accident never happened

Your typical "Minecraft is the result of a post apocalyptic word where humans destroyed themselves and the world"

I lived 6 years of abuse from him and seeing what he was doing behind my back makes me sick. I was gr00med when I was a kid and I'm a SA survivor, I talked to him about my experience multiple times and some days where I vent about it are the same days he was literally gr00ming other kids, in the same way I was gr00med.
Even if you had just one bad intercation with him it's enough, do NOT think you are crazy for what you lived. We hear you and support you, especially me, with all of my heart, really
Deltarune truly doesn't need to do much to make me think it's the best game ever, all it needs to do is make Ralsei NOT related to Asriel and that's it
It's not that I hate Orihime, I actually think she's really funny and silly!! It's that the moment she starts looking at Ichigo and talking about him I roll my eyes, I swear it ruins her character because she basically only lives for him sometimes
I had the same problem with early season Uraraka, which made me drop the show entirely
I just don't like strong female characters that are in love with the male lead, and base a big part of their character around it, and then wants to get stronger to be able to "follow him" or "be worthy of him" or "fight for him"
To me, it's overdone, it's tiring, it's cliche, and personally a little bit misogynistic?
Rukia is never fighting for Ichigo, she fights because she wants to and because it's the right thing to do, I like that, I think that's realistic and more enjoyable to watch
Another example is Lucy from Fairy Tail, who fights because she wants to get stronger and protect her friends (family), I think these are very noble reasons to fight, and her character is never centered around Natsu. Even when he left, and she was depressed, it wasn't *only* because of him, but because everyone left and she had no way of moving on. Sometimes, the characters from the anime center around *her* and I think it's fun to watch, it's different
Also, not that I think wanting to get stronger for the one you love isn't noble, but I think it's just overdone, especially in anime with women that are love interests. It's like authors can't think of another reason for them to keep going. And it's even worse with Orihime because Ichigo did not give a fuck early on, he barely noticed her, and seeing her fighting because of him and yearning for him while he didn't give her the time of day was, well, pathetic
Men only like this ship because Orihime is a submissive fanservicy gal and woman only like this ship because they project onto Orihime since they have a crush on Ichigo, period

Cannot wait for Stranger Things to be over so I can completely ignore this cast and only think about the characters and not the actors (can't do this rn because all ST content we get are actors interviews and them hanging out)
Kinda tired of ONE webcomic fans complaining about the changes in OPM, and comparing it to MOB100, because it's a very faithful adaptation
OPM has differences because ONE wanted it to be different, every rewrite and redraw is a collaboration between ONE and Murata. MOB wasn't made with more or less love, Murata clearly loves this manga but the creator wanted to tell something different and that's okay, let ONE cook y'all
I do like how the manga went more in depth about Genos and Saitama, and that Blast is already integrated in the story!! I think the redraws are kinda funny because the guy is a bit obsessed with making it perfect and we end up getting a bunch of new art lol
Is Stranger Things writing good? NO, especially the episodes that are written by the brothers
Instead of watching and noticing things like a normal person you actually have to make a million parallels to other characters and media, which wouldn't be bad if it wasn't all the time, to an extreme and if it wasn't happening without showing clear signs of character development
So when people say Will is useless and Byler has no basis or build up I can't even get mad, because I'm only able to see things after levels of insanity, theories, character analysis, foreshadowing and parallel analysis
If Byler becomes true, a lot of people will say it came out of nowhere for fan service, so prepare to make a million videos and posts about how it actually makes sense if you look into it, and it's not Bylers fault, it's the writers because they are trying to be sneaky

okay so I can only answer this with how it looks to me, from the perspective of someone who likes Ralsei, but I think people just kind of refuse to engage with Ralsei as a character for some reason.
part of it is a general problem with the whole "player" theoryβthere are a lot of reasons I don't like that whole narrative but one of the reasons is that I think people tend to assume Kris just wants the opposite of whatever the player wants. that's, in my opinion, the real reason so many people think they don't like Ralsei: because the player does. except the player doesn't in this case, but the character that people imagine as "the player" does, I suppose. Everyone who doesn't like Ralsei seems to think they're the only one, and he's actually really popular, but like... before the trailer, I was getting legitimately annoyed that people kept leaving him out of drawings of the fun gang.
but there's a lot more to it than that, I think. the short answer is that people Ralsei is boring and shallow. the slightly longer answer is that people think Ralsei is boring and shallow because Ralsei thinks he's boring and shallow.
this might sound weird but usually when I try to explain how I view Ralsei, the character I compare him to is Zuko, from the Last Airbender. there's some surface level similarities in that they're both princes and definitely not straight but the deeper similarity there is emptiness. they're people who have spent their entire lives trying to fill a role/archetype, usually to serve someone else, and have centered their entire existance around it in a way that's left them completely empty outside of it.
ralsei doesn't have friends or family. a lot of the fandom seems to think he just doesn't have anything besides being the healer and a nice fluffy boy and The Third One in fun gang/prophecy, and on some level... yeah, that's true, but not because he's a shallow character. he literally doesn't have anything else. he's spent his entire life preparing to be "the prince from the dark," so much so that he genuinely does not know who the fuck he is outside of that.
kris and susie are his first friends, and I'm not really sure why the fandom is so dedicated to taking that away from him when that's clearly supposed to be his character arc? he's empty. he has no idea who he is outside of the role he has to play and I think his story is going to be about confronting that, and figuring it out. accepting that he doesn't have to be "the prince from the dark" and that he's allowed to just be Ralsei. he doesn't seem to think he has any value beyond thatβat least based on what he says about how his purpose as a darkner is "to help the lightners," and how he talk about the prophecy in chapter 1. this guy does not believe he has any worth outside of acting as a tool for the narrative, and for reasons I can't really understand, the fandom has just gone "yeah actually π you suck and you don't matter and we're replacing you with Noelle because she's better."
See this is exactly how I feel about it! I wanted to ask people that actually hate him to see how they think but everything you said is the impression I got
I don't think people need a reason to dislike a character, I certainly hate characters without explanation. But I just kept wondering why Ralsei when similar characters (Spamtom, Noelle, Flowey) don't get much hate you know?
Now there's this influx of people drawing him all cutesy because his fans are fixated on him once again after the trailer, but before that? He was never in fanarts with Kris/Noelle/Susie/Berdley, people on Twitter would constantly disregard him, call him boring, call him incetuous and sometimes reduce him to a homosexual stereotype
Not only do people see the player as a character instead of THEMSELVES doing THEIR OWN ACTIONS, they are kinda obsessed with trying to match what Kris wants, when we don't know that for sure!! The game isn't telling you to like Ralsei, it's not even telling us that Kris hates him. It only told us that Ralsei likes Kris and has a potential crush, and he might know about us controlling Kris. So tired of people acting like Kris and Susie are the main characters, Ralsei is too!! Every chapter we will meet another character a bit more but Susie and Ralsei are constants for now, and Ralsei will finally have space to grow and meet his own self
On another note, people are also obsessed with doing "what Kris wants" or "what Kris hates" instead of just... Playing the game? Doing whatever *you* think is best or more fun? At the end of the day we are still controlling Kris, there's nothing we can do that will make them happy in this situation because it's already invasive. Your choices do not matter, the ending is the same (the game literally has only one ending, it's trying to tell A story, not the story y'all choose)
I don't necessarily hate Ralsei, but he doesn't exactly have all my trust just yet, and I'm sure the majority of Ralsei dislikers don't trust him either. The biggest reason WHY people don't trust him is because of a lot of the meta (4th wall-breaking) knowledge he has
There are a few theories that he's hiding something from the player, notable evidence for this is after the Susie POV switches when he says something along the lines of "βand that's why" to Kris, like we've caught the end of a conversation they had while we weren't looking (there's a lot more like this but I can't remember every line in this game lol)
There's also the Flowey parallel where they both call the soul "the culmination of your being" in their respective tutorials, and I think people remembered how quickly Flowey betrayed us and are just waiting for Ralsei to do the same

I thought it was mostly because of the flirting, like people got uncomfortable ever since Susie compared him to Asriel, not long after I made this post I saw people accuse the little guy of incest
