Fear Not!

Fuyuuko came to a halt, her eyes wide, a strand of hair falling down, down over her face. She looked stunned- startled, maybe. And Alphonse just looked... frustrated.

"What?" She muttered.

"Stop following me! I know you have been following me, and I'd greatly appreciate it if you would cease in your incessant stalking!"

"Why? I'm not doing anything wrong! ...You looked lost." She looked lost. "So I thought I should... follow you."

With a huff, he brushed some hair away before putting one hand on his side. "In the words of another, 'As if,'. Why are you REALLY following me." He glared down at the supposedly fiendish Fuyuuko, tired eyes narrowed.

The response he got was an open mouth that shut again, as she considered her words. Inevitably, after a few moments, she gave up on trying to hide it. So she spoke softly, her hands finding themselves fiddling with her fingers as she looked down at the floor. "I'm lost."

This spurned an internal reaction in him that he didn't appreciate. He had all but vowed to keep away, but for a moment... the knight considered the option of breaking his rule. Just once. So he glanced off to the side, sighing, before holding a hand out to her.

"Come on. We'll find our way back."

She looked up from the ground to his hand, blinking, before reaching out gently. Carefully taking it in her own. (...He had small hands...)
