Getting Started. I'd always vaguely expected to outgrow my limitations. One day, I'd stop cutting my hair, overthinking too much and wearing ballet shoes all the time, eating the same breakfast food every day, and stop listening to music on Spotify—instead I'll play the old CDs and vinyl records I owned in the past. I'd remember my friends' birthdays, I'd learn how to play violin and accordion, I'll start dating and fall inlove, I would never procrastinate, I could virtually dedicate and focus my entire day on just studying, finish the songs I'm attempting to write, dance with full of confidence infront of people, sing more French and German songs, surf on a big waves, write a story, draw and paint more arts and hang it up on my wall, mediate more, exercise, climb a mountain. I'd read Shakespeare and Aristotle. I'd spend more time laughing and having fun, I'd be more polite and kind, I'd visit museums and libraries more often, I wouldn't be scared to travel alone. One January day, on a morning just like every other morning, I had a sudden realization: I was in danger of wasting my time. As I stared out the rain-spattered window of a city train, I saw that the years were slipping by. “What do I want from life anyway?” I asked myself. Well this is the first step of the preparation stage, where in I need to identify what brings me joy, satisfaction, and engagement, and also what brings me guilt, anger, boredom, and remorse. Nevertheless looking toward the future and, sure, it is unclear, but man does it feel good to be alive and moving forward! It’s going to be hard work, efforts, lots of different experiences, changes and trials but well worth it. Bring it on 2018! I miss dancing, performing, warm ups, rehearsals, the costumes, the soreness, the stage, the drama, the nervousness i get before going on stage. I’m so nostalgic for dance right now. I miss being good at something. And being creative. It’s been too long since i last danced. Dancing is my way of feeling free, expressing myself, having fun, feeling warm inside…So yeah. Dance has been there for me, all my life. I miss it. And can't wait to do it soon again 😌💘💃🏻

Negativity does nothing, but set you back. It can be really challenging sometimes, but let's all do our best to see that gorgeous silver lining.
