everything about hotd fandom looks like it was created in a lab to rage bait. so glad i have filtered the tags because the fandom will just make me hate the show more. again.

i am gonna get booed for this but i think ryan and co would've done a better job than d&d at adapting asoiaf. i know i KNOW hotd is pretty unserious with a lot of whacky choices but that's mostly because the source material they're adapting sucks ass. sorry but that's the truth. anyone who thinks fire and blood and asoiaf are the same has to be kidding. ryan wouldn't have robbed the main series of so much of it's heart the way d&d did just to pander to dudebros. i just know ryan condal would've been GIDDY at the thought of adapting dany's dragon dreams, jamie being haunted by rhaegar's ghost, catelyn's chapters!!! and i like to think that they wouldn't have cut the whole lady stoneheart storyline. the only thing that would worry me with this writing team would be their extremely rigid gendered view of morality but again with a pile of books that take us inside each character's head I don't think they'd go that route when there's already enough material to work with.
