liokki's paternal aunt & matriarch of the family. she is about 180 years old & has been part of the forum for several decades. she is an extremely talented scholar in all matters aether but she is especially appreciated for how calm she remains, no matter the situation.

liokki's father was her younger brother & it was her who sent him to the azim steppe, wanting him to bring back some seeds that she wanted to study the aetherial aspects of. little did she know that by doing so, her brother would find a wife & would decide to remain in the steppe.

they did remain in contact, even if it was a bit hard due to the circumstances surrounding the nations around them so elene knew about liokki being born.

she did however not know about him coming to visit & lay part of his father's ashes to rest.

the two of them have a soft bond with each other, elene is, on the outside a quiet woman who only speaks with intent. among family she is far more talkative & actually likes to tease her family members. she also gave liokki the nickname "sunflower" .
