Lately, I can feel it. The anxiety creeping in my everyday life. Making me worrisome. Making me afraid. I finally got my driver’s license because I was forced to. It was very difficult. It’s probably very irrational to most. Driving is easy. Driving is simple. But for me, it’s not. It’s fear. It’s scary and often I can’t explain why. I just have this deep fear. It’s like I think of every bad situation and my heart rate rises. I just can’t control it. I know it comes naturally to others. It’s not like anything traumatic has happened to me whiling driving but I just avoid it. I can’t even explain why. Not just with driving too. I try my hardest not to do it, but it’s automatic I can’t control it. I think of all the things that could go wrong. All the ways I don’t live up to an expectation. I worry about little things that don’t even matter and that I know don’t matter, but yet it affects me like it’s a top priority for some reason.
