“My apologies, Miss.” To be honest, he was kind of used to female demons (and humans) crushing on him, and, since Sensui was in the picture, he was also used to turning them down. A female demon who didn’t find him attractive was a novelty, but he would roll with it, seeing as it prevented any awkwardness between them.

He turns around to face her fully, a wry smirk forming at the corner of his mouth. “Human beings are very…interesting creatures. Sadly, many demons tend to underestimate their…capacities.” Such as the capacity for evil, depravity, sadness, beauty, innocence…everything that had drawn him to Sensui in the first place and kept him madly in love with him even a decade later.

But it’s clear the strange demon has no interest in debating with her. He’s already gone on his way, but he catches her staring at his back, and even makes an obscene gesture towards the human he’s come with. Apparently they are romantically involved, or at the very least sexually. She shudders. How lewd and inappropriate. With a slight huff, she turns her back on the man and starts to mutter about how odd the crowd is this year.
