NBL QR 2017/18 Season has finally come to an end. It was an emotional end to an exciting finals. We are finally crown champions after a gruelling path to the finals. Despite some injuries and fatigue, our coaches and players manage to summon their inner strength and fighting spirit from their reserve tanks to push through. With the cheers and servant support from our amazing supporters behind us, we gritted our teeth and soldiered on. Each passionate shouts of "DEFENSE" by the supporters & the bench, shook us & we dare not lose our focus. With our bench also providing additional instructional support throughout the match, we found our "sixth" man on the court. Although we were threatening to run away with the match after bursting out offensively from the 1st quarter, the young, athletic & talented opponent roared back with a vengence, tying the game at the crucial moment late in the 4th quarter. Finally, our team-work, chemistry & trust that were developed through the run up to the finals, allowed us to compose ourselves amidst the frantic pace & excitement, to finish the job & seal the deal. We are finally CHAMPIONS! Like to once again thank our fantastic supports who came down to cheer & shouted throughout the game! Hope we have entertained you & you shared our joy in the victory. Like to thank the whole team who made the effort to late night trainings despite their busy schedules & injuries, the bench united in support of the players when they are not on the court & players leaving it all out on the court when they were on it.
