Love of my life
You’re a beautiful brand new skateboard, but you can’t just stay still in your room, you gotta live and ride.
Ollies, pop shove its and kickflips will leave scars on your body and over transitions you’ll fly.
Crumbles of grip will be teared apart, you’ll be naked like wood under paint.
Ruined and exhausted you’ll still do your best, you’ll keep living and riding your exciting life.
You’ll grow older and older under sun and rain and one day, while spinning, you’ll break.
You’ll still be beautiful to me, I’ll hang you on the wall, right over my bed and smile.
You gotta ride before you break, you gotta live before you die.
I’ll ride beside you, you’re the love of my life.
